Transcript

Just notice the feeling of your feet on the floor and your body making contact with the chair or furniture that you're sitting or resting on and bring awareness to your breath.

Notice it coming in and out.

You may notice this at your nostrils or you might notice your chest or belly rising and you might like to place a hand on your chest or belly to connect with your breath.

Each time you exhale feel a sense of letting go.

Letting go of where you've just been,

Of what you've been doing.

Letting go of thoughts about today or yesterday or tomorrow and just arriving here in this space now and I'll invite you to deepen your breath and to exhale out through your mouth really sighing out and allowing any sounds to come and notice how exhaling through the mouth brings you deeper into your body and sigh or yawn if that comes to you and really exaggerate the sense of letting go.

And you might like to roll your shoulders and feel the muscles release as your shoulders drop down from your ears and your chest opens.

You might feel your jaw releasing as you exhale here as well releasing the jaw and neck.

If you're still exhaling and sighing through your mouth you can just release that now and allow your breathing to return to normal and allow your awareness to return to noticing your body's contact with the floor or furniture and just notice if your body feels different now.
