The Inner Buddha Part 1.
Sharpen your mind.
There comes a point in our evolution where we realize that the answers we seek can only be found deep within our being.
Only when the mind is quiet enough will the answers start to surface.
The answers cannot be understood by the intellect.
Rather,
They must be felt and experienced through our being,
Our essence.
We all inherently possess the Inner Buddha state.
However,
When the mind is too noisy,
We become too consumed and fall into the trap of thinking and feeling.
To awaken your Inner Buddha,
First you must understand the difference between thinking and observation.
You are not your thoughts.
Too often we give value to thoughts that consume our attention.
We become highly unconscious and get lost in the structures of the thinking mind.
Thoughts are an expression of our energy being observed in our field of awareness.
When we have an undeveloped attention span,
Thoughts possess the power to pull our attention into the realm of thinking.
You must truly have the courage to let go of all your thoughts and realize that you are far greater than your thoughts.
In fact,
You are the power that gives birth to all thought phenomena.
The Inner Buddha state is a mystical,
Powerful state that gives birth to true wisdom and insight.
The Buddha once said,
The world is afflicted by death and decay,
But the wise do not grieve having realized the nature of the world.
To realize the true nature of the world,
We must first realize the true nature of the self.
In this meditation,
You will sharpen your mind by developing your awareness.
Let's now begin our practice by getting comfortable in our position.
Ensure the spinal column is erect.
Maintain a nice straight back.
Hands on your knees or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.
Let's begin by taking in some easy conscious breaths.
Breathing in through the nose.
Breathing out through the mouth.
In through the nose.
And out through the mouth.
For the rest of this practice,
Breathe in through the nose.
And breathe out through the nose.
Just effortlessly witness your breath.
Allow the breath to take place in the background of your awareness.
Focusing now on the sound of this moment.
What does this moment sound like?
Begin the sounds that are coming in through your sense of hearing.
Now internalize your sense of hearing to the sound of your heart.
Listen to your heartbeat.
Connect to your heartbeat.
Now I want you to let my voice guide you into a deep state of relaxation.
Letting go and surrendering to the deeper dimensions of your being.
As I count down from 10 to 1,
Let your mind go.
With each number I count down,
Just let go a little more.
10.
Letting go of your thoughts.
9.
Letting go of your feelings.
8.
Letting go of your body.
7.
Simply letting go.
6.
Deepen your awareness of your body.
5.
Feel your body.
4.
Feel the aliveness that fuels your body.
3.
Letting go even more.
2.
Sinking deeper into your being.
1.
Embrace your body's relaxation.
The Buddha said gracefully,
The mind is everything.
Purify your mind of fear,
Attachments and sorrow and it will lead to happiness that will follow you like a shadow.
In order to purify our minds,
We must first let go of everything.
Not allowing any form or object to infiltrate our inner Buddha.
Thoughts will come,
Let them come.
Thoughts will go,
Let them go.
2.
Embracing your body.
3.
Embracing your body.
In this practice,
You will allow all thoughts to come into your field of awareness.
Your objective is to stay in a state of awareness.
Do not resist.
Do not identify.
Just stay as the witness,
The observer.
Each time you hear the sound of the mantra om,
Let it be a trigger for you to come back into a pure state of awareness.
The aim is to stay as the observer throughout the whole practice.
Stay in your practice.
In this practice the focus is on your mind.
You You You How did you go Did you get distracted or did you stay as the observer throughout the whole practice?
Please repeat this first level until you can stay focused in a state of observation without thoughts consuming your attention The more we observe our thoughts the sharper our minds become Initially this will seem like an effort,
But as you progress through the levels your mind will become sharper and sharper Awakening your inner Buddha means that you must take the power from your mind The mind if we are not aware of it can keep us in a higher hypnotic state always being consumed by our thoughts and Trapped in the dualistic state of thinking and feeling Now become aware of your breath again Just witness the natural flow of your breath Your mind is an instrument to be used Unless you rise above your mind You will be used by the mind The mind is very powerful and seductive But your inner Buddha transcends the realm of the mind and connects to the universal mind Now listen to the sounds of the river flow Embrace this sound for the rest of this practice If thoughts come just simply observe beyond all like and dislikes Maintain equanimity in the mind Stay only in a neutral state of observation Remember the more you let your thoughts go the sharper your mind becomes Breathing in through the nose Breathing out through the nose Breathing in through the nose breathing out through the nose Now listen to the sounds of the river flow Embrace this sound for the rest of this practice Remember the more you let your thoughts go the sharper your mind becomes Breathing in through the nose Breathing out through the nose Breathing out through the nose Try to dream big you

Incredible beginner friendly meditation. Absolutely loved that there was a guiding voice but they went away to allow us to strengthen our meditation skills on our own.

Wow! Mind blowing! Sharing with a few people! I may have wandered so much in my thoughts I didn’t hear it so I’m curious as to if I will next time. I missed an anticipated Om and flowing lake water
