Welcome.
Let's begin by taking a few slow deep rounds of breath together.
Take a full breath in and then slowly and completely exhale all of the air out.
Another deep full breath in,
Exhale all of the air out.
One more full breath like this.
If you haven't already,
I invite you to close the eyes.
Allow the body to be comfortable.
Whether you're seated or lying down,
Feel the body beginning to let go.
The small muscles around the eyes and the mouth begin to soften.
Allow there to be a slight part between the teeth and the lips so the jaw can begin to relax down.
Feel as if there is a wave of ease moving from the top of the head all the way down through the face,
Shoulders,
Arms,
And hands,
Neck and torso,
Hips,
Legs all the way down to the tips of the toes,
Relaxing a little more with each breath.
As we move into our affirmation practice,
Let us remember that to really activate and anchor an affirmation in our brains,
In our bodies,
In our lives,
We must also call upon emotion.
So as you hear each affirmation,
I invite you to gently repeat it over and over,
Whether silently or aloud,
And conjure up the emotion,
The energy that matches this affirmation.
Even if you're having a difficult time feeling peaceful or loving in this moment,
Start to remember what it's like to feel that way or imagine what it's like if this affirmation is already occurring in your life.
Take a deep conscious breath into the heart,
Exhale through the mouth,
And let us begin.
I deeply love and accept myself.
I deeply love and accept myself.
I deeply love and accept myself.
Breathe that into the whole heart,
Chest,
Body,
And mind.
I acknowledge myself for doing my best.
The mind is so often judgmental,
So take a moment to realize and acknowledge that in every moment you are doing your best with whatever is occurring in your life.
I acknowledge myself for doing my best.
I acknowledge myself for doing my best.
I am grateful for all of the gifts that I share with others,
Whether it be your heart,
Your mind,
Your passion,
Your kindness,
Your listening or support,
You are a gift even if you don't realize it.
I am grateful for the gifts that I share with others.
I am grateful for the gifts that I share with others.
I love myself for exactly who I am.
We all have room to grow,
But it is invaluable to acknowledge ourselves,
To accept ourselves for all that we are in this moment.
I love myself for exactly who I am.
I love myself for exactly who I am.
I am a being of light.
Remember from someplace deep inside that you are so much more than this body,
Than these temporary thoughts and emotions.
I am a being of light.
I am a being of light.
My life is precious.
My life is precious.
My life is precious.
Let us take another full deep breath into the heart and exhale through the mouth.
If it feels good you can place the palms over the heart center.
Feel the way the chest lifts up into your hands with each breath in and feel this softening deep in your heart as you breathe out.
As you are ready slowly begin to move fingers and toes.
You may wish to reach the arms up to the sky as you take a deep breath in and then again exhale through the mouth with a sigh as you relax the arms down.
Whenever you are ready slowly open the eyes.
Thank you so much for sharing this time and space with me with great love.
Let us take another full deep breath into the heart and exhale through the mouth.
