Welcome to this healing meditation.
Before beginning this meditation,
I would encourage you to have a blanket or jacket nearby.
As we relax,
The body naturally cools.
If this happens over the course of the meditation,
Feel free to drape the blanket across the legs or around the back.
Take a few moments to come to quiet.
Allow yourself to settle into the body.
You can either lay down or take an easy seat.
With either position,
Take some time to get comfortable.
If you're seated,
Have the spine be long.
Maybe place a cushion behind the lower back so that you feel supported.
If you're laying down,
Maybe place a bolster under the knees.
Take some full,
Easy breaths.
Feel the belly rise and fall.
Allow yourself to land here in the body.
Connect to this moment.
Connect to the breath.
We're going to take some time to really root down into this body.
To help facilitate healing,
We need to be connected.
With the physical challenges you've been experiencing,
Maybe you've been disconnecting from the body.
Let's reconnect now.
Feel into the body.
Sense the flow of breath.
Feel the air on the skin.
Feel where the body touches the floor,
Chair,
Or bed.
Allow yourself to melt down.
Feel the body rising up to meet you.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Send loving energy into this body that serves you day and night.
Breathe in a sense of gratitude for this body.
Breathe out relaxation.
Let's shift our attention.
On the inhale,
Think of a beautiful light pouring out the crown of the head.
Send this light up to the sky.
Exhale.
See that shining silver light pouring down from the sky,
Bathing the top of the head.
Inhale.
The light shines up out of the crown.
Exhale.
The light shines down.
Breathe easily and fully,
Connecting to this warm,
Glowing light.
Inhale.
Light shines up.
Exhale.
Light shines down.
Keep envisioning this flow of light.
We are now going to start reaching out while our body remains still.
I'll use the word universe as we continue,
But you can change this to suit you.
Maybe you use the word God or the divine.
Maybe you think of your connection to loved ones and how they are sending you positive healing energy.
Feel free to shift and explore what language feels the most powerful to you.
Let's begin.
As you inhale,
Think,
I connect to the universe.
As you exhale,
Think,
I receive energy from the universe.
Inhale.
The light shines up.
I connect.
Exhale the light shines down.
I receive.
Inhale.
I connect to the universe.
Exhale.
I receive healing from the universe.
Inhale.
I connect to the universe.

I receive strength from the universe.

I receive love from the universe.
Let's repeat that same flow.
Inhaling,

The light shines up.

Relax and breathe without my prompting.
Again,
Clearly envision the silvery glowing light.
Inhale this light into the lungs,
Filling yourself with this energy.
See these silvery glowing lights in the lungs.
You can play with what these lights might look like.
These silvery lights are going to be helping us with our healing.
Maybe seeing these lights with tiny brooms and sponges.
Maybe these lights look like little angels.
Maybe they're just warm glowing lights,
Shiny and pure.
See the silvery lights come in.
See these lights moving in the lungs,
Seeking out any dark places.
Silvery warm energy flows into you.
These lights intuitively know where to go.
Let the breath flow smoothly and easily in and out.
You see the healing energy flowing in with the breath and then you allow it to flow to the places in your body that need healing.
Those silvery lights are warm and gentle.
Your body welcomes and directs them.
Every place they stop,
You can feel the dark stagnant energy being broken up.
Exhaling,
You are cleansed.
Inhale,
Receive healing energy.
Exhale,
Release stagnant energy.
Silvery lights glowing and warming you.
Exhale,
Let go.
Welcome healing energy in.
Exhale,
Out tension and stagnant energy.
Inhale,
Relax.
Heal,
Melt down into the earth.
Be soft.
Heal,
Relax.
Slowly bringing a bit of movement into the hands.
Wiggle the fingers.
And then as you feel ready,
Rub the hands together in front of the heart.
At first maybe this is a bit slow and then you can have it be a little more rigorous,
Rubbing those hands back and forth.
Imagine that you are building a static charge in the hands,
A magnetic attraction.
Hold the hands a bit apart so that the palms face each other.
As if your hands are magnets,
See those silvery lights being drawn to your palms.
Your palms are warm,
Maybe they tingle a little.
Move your hands so that they float over the body to the place that needs healing.
Silvery lights glow brighter in your palms.
As if your palms are flashlights,
Shine those lights down into the place that needs healing.
Inhale,
Palms glow.
Exhale,
Shine down.
Palms glow bright.
See those silvery lights passing into the body,
Healing you.
Listen to your body and allow your hands to move intuitively.
Maybe rub the hands together again until they're warm and then continue.
Take the time you need to bathe your body in this healing energy.
Nice easy breaths.
Inhale,
Palms glow.
Exhale,
Shine down.
Palms glow.
Shine down.
And then as you feel complete,
Allow the arms to float down.
If you're sitting,
They can be soft in your lap.
If you have the ability to lay down,
I invite you to do this now.
If you're laying down already,
Allow the arms to lay alongside the body,
Palms up.
Allow everything to melt.
Take a moment to cover up if you're feeling cold.
As you lay softly here,
Know that all of the healing lights that you welcomed into your body are still here.
See them continuing to move through the body,
Healing and cleansing.
Send them love and gratitude,
Thanking them for making you well.
See yourself doing this meditation day after day and see how with every day you become stronger.
Those silvery lights shining and sparkling within you.
Envision this healthy self in your mind's eye.
Feel yourself living in that healthy body.
Picture yourself sleeping well,
Eating well,
And becoming stronger day by day.
Our brains are incredibly powerful.
By envisioning this healthy self,
Know that your brain will work to make this so.
See that beautiful,
Healthy you.
From here,
I encourage you to rest and relax,
Allowing this energy to circulate deeply into your blood,
Your tissue,
And your bones,
Sending you much love and healing.
