Welcome to your North Star sleep time meditation under the stars.

This is Fiona and I am your guide to sleep well tonight.

Begin by lying down somewhere,

Comfortable,

Warm and safe.

Let your body settle.

Let this be your time,

A space just for you,

A time to gently unwind and let go.

With your eyes softly closed,

Bring your attention to your breath,

Feel it rise and fall like gentle waves against the shore.

You don't need to do anything,

Just allow yourself to be breathed.

With each breath,

Let your body sink a little deeper into stillness.

With each breath,

Feel a little more at ease,

A little more at home within yourself.

Now imagine you're lying in a hammock beneath the stars.

You feel the fabric cradling you,

The gentle sway like the rhythm of the tide,

A calm evening breeze brushes against your skin.

You are wrapped in warmth,

Surrounded by peace.

Above you,

The night sky stretches endlessly,

A dome of infinite stars twinkling softly,

Each one a distant sun,

Each one a quiet light.

You don't need to reach for them,

They are already there,

Shining just for you.

Let's deepen this peaceful state now,

As I count from 10 to 1,

Let each number guide you deeper,

Like stepping further into this quiet night,

Further into stillness,

Into spaciousness.

Breathe in for 10,

Your breath is helping you to relax.

9,

The stars begin to sparkle a little more brightly above you.

8,

The hammock rocks gently,

Your body fully supported.

7,

You feel the weight of the day begin to dissolve,

A soft warmth travels down from your shoulders to your fingertips.

5,

You are aware of your inner body,

That ageless,

Still part of you.

It is always here,

Now.

4,

The breeze whispers through nearby trees,

The voice of nature is saying,

You are safe.

3,

You notice how quiet the mind is becoming.

2,

Your breath now like a gentle tide,

Calm and steady.

3,

Breathe for 1,

As you drift deeper,

Still.

2,

Here under the stars,

Everything feels different,

Sharper,

Slower,

There is no newsfeed,

No text,

No notifications,

No pressure,

No overwhelm.

You remember that we are not meant to carry the weight of the whole world,

Our nervous system,

Our heart,

Our soul,

They are built for village sized lives,

To care deeply for those close to us,

To feel what is real in this moment,

To make a change to what is in our control.

And so here,

Under the stars,

You come home to yourself,

You come back to the present moment,

To the only place where peace dwells,

You become aware of the gentle flicker of the stars above.

And as you do this,

You feel a flicker of light within,

That light,

It has never gone out,

Even in difficult moments,

Even when tides have shifted in your life,

That light stayed.

The presence within you,

Still,

Silent and ageless.

3,

As you lie here,

You remember that life is not about holding on with clenched fists,

It is about softening,

About letting the grains of sand fall from your hand,

Releasing what is ready to transform,

Trusting that what is meant to stay,

Will remain.

And so gently now,

Feel yourself soften around change,

Around others,

Who may be growing in directions you didn't expect.

What would it be like to release them with love,

While remaining connected?

You are not alone,

All things shift,

Even stars are always becoming something new.

There is courage in softness,

There is strength in surrender,

You let go and trust,

And you become the light that guides you.

And now imagine yourself walking for hours through nature,

Each step,

Unhurried,

Each breath,

Deep and true,

Through forests you walk,

Under mountains you stroll,

The earth solid beneath,

And when you are ready,

You return to your hammock beneath the stars,

You rest here,

Knowing you have nothing to prove,

Nothing to fix.

This is a night for listening to your inner world,

For trusting that your presence is enough.

You remember that journaling can help you hear that inner voice,

And that as you write,

You begin to see yourself more clearly,

To know your own limits,

To notice when you are stretching too far,

And to gently recline and say,

Not now.

Saying no with kindness is an act of self-love,

And you are allowed to rest,

You are allowed to take up space,

To protect the peace you have found under these stars.

And now,

As you drift into sleep,

Your inner body is always here,

It is alive with wisdom,

It cannot be harmed by time or stress,

It is you,

And it is whole,

You are deeply connected to the rhythms of nature,

To the slow turning of the earth,

To the soft light of distant stars,

To the quiet intelligence of your own heart.

Let go a little more now,

Let yourself be held,

Let yourself be breathed,

Let sleep carry you.

Gently,

Kindly,

Completely,

Drifting deeper and deeper.
