Welcome to this meditation designed to help you in moments of uncertainty,
Whether you are making a decision,
Uncertain of the future or just don't know what to do.
Begin by finding a quiet,
Calm and safe place to relax in.
Settle yourself in a position that allows your body to feel most at ease.
Begin by taking three slow deep breaths in through your nose and out through your nose.
As you exhale,
Really allow yourself to slow the exhale down.
As you do so,
Begin to become aware of your body.
How is this not knowing showing up within your physical being?
Is there any tension or tightness?
A sense of disease or some other physical manifestation?
As you become aware of these sensations,
Allow yourself to accept them as an invitation to acknowledge their presence.
Instead of pulling away,
Welcome the sensations.
Maintain steady breathing as you do so.
Once you've finished acknowledging and sensing all of the sensations physically in your body,
Acknowledge the emotions that are seeking to be seen.
Maybe it's fear or frustration,
Maybe the emotions don't have an exact name,
Just a visceral presence.
Acknowledge that they have shown up to invite you to hear them,
To see what is seeking to be expressed by your subconscious.
Now allow yourself to see the stories your mind is seeking to put to these feelings,
Not inviting them to play,
Just noting what stories and dialogues wish to be present.
Thanking them for their input,
Acknowledging them for trying to make reason out of this uncertain environment you find yourself in.
Now take a moment to allow all of this to be accepted,
Seen and welcomed,
But not indulged.
Like wading through a murky stream,
With waves hitting your sides,
The cold water against your skin,
You may not know exactly where you are,
But you are still clear that all of you is welcome,
Accepted and acknowledged,
Even if you haven't found your way to the other side yet.
Now we invite in our higher self,
The part of you that is behind the thoughts,
Deeply connected to your emotions and is aware of every minute sensation within your body.
In this moment,
Relax our need to be right,
To know better,
To have all the answers,
Instead invite your higher self to come forward,
To express itself,
To be welcomed,
Acknowledged and seen,
Whatever form it may take.
I will give you a moment of silence to deeply connect with this part of yourself.
Allow your higher self to be embodied in you,
To speak to and through you.
Now,
We send deep gratitude to all parts of ourselves,
From the fluttering emotions to the deep and clear higher self.
Do not worry if you do not have a clear message given to you.
By inviting the higher self forward,
You have invited it into your presence.
Not all answers need to be spoken to be understood.
I invite you to have any final moments of gratitude you feel you would like.
You may have answers,
Clarity or ideas,
Or you may just feel a little more grounded.
Let this be a step towards your desired direction.
Let yourself feel appreciated for the time you have spent with yourself here today.
To close,
We will begin by rolling our shoulders,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Taking as much time as you need to connect back with the space that surrounds you.
And when you are ready,
You can return into the room,
Cracking open your eyes and getting on with your day.
