Welcome to this guided meditation and breath work practice to reset and realign.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated or reclined position and take all the time you need to find some gentleness and ease in your body.
Let your body settle into the earth beneath you,
Feeling the support below you,
Allowing it to hold you fully.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let your hands rest wherever they feel most at ease,
On your thighs,
Your belly,
Your heart,
Or beside you.
Begin to draw your attention into the sensations within your breath.
And when you are ready,
Take a deep,
Wide breath in through your nose and exhale slowly out through your mouth.
And again,
Inhale wide and deep,
Filling your lungs,
Exhale gently,
Releasing any tension.
And one more time,
The deepest breath yet of your day,
And exhaling out the mouth.
Now allow the breath to settle into a natural rhythm.
Feel the stillness between breaths like a quiet space where peace lives,
Observing any and all sensations of your breath.
There's nowhere else to be right now,
Nothing to do,
Just this,
Just here,
Just now.
Now let's begin a four-part breath to calm the nervous system and invite in balance.
We'll inhale for the count of four,
Hold the breath gently for four,
Exhale for four,
And pause at the exhale for four.
When you are ready,
Take a slow,
Wide,
Deep breath in for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And hold for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Hold for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And hold for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhaling,
Now repeating this breath two times on your own.
And now let go of the counting.
Return to a soft,
Natural breath.
As you breathe,
Bring awareness to your body.
What sensations are here now?
What has softened?
With each breath,
Feel your body taking in nourishment,
Drawing in grounding,
Calming energy from the earth below,
And releasing what no longer serves with every exhale.
You are resetting.
You are realigning.
You are returning to your natural state of balance.
Take one more deep,
Wide,
Steady breath in.
Hold it softly.
Exhale completely out the mouth.
Carry this breath with you,
This calm that lives inside of you.
You can return to it at any time,
One breath,
One moment at a time.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to be still.
And in that stillness,
You heal.
When you are ready,
Slowly blink your eyes open,
Returning to the space around you.
Thank you so much for sharing your time with me,
And please thank yourself for taking this time to reset and realign.
I always love to hear from you.
Please leave a comment and let me know how you are feeling after this practice.
I wish you a beautiful rest of your day.
