Transcript
Get ready for your Soma Daily Dose Hyper Edition for those experienced in Soma or Wim Hof Method practices.
This is two rounds at a 4-4 rhythm.
Get ready for a change of pace at the start and midway.
Begin this now by finding a place where you won't be disturbed.
Sit with your back straight or lie down on your back without any tension.
Bring your awareness to your breath as you breathe in and out.
On the next inhale,
Breathe all the way in.
Hold.
Squeeze your muscles and gently let go with a sigh.
And again in.
Hold.
Squeeze your muscles.
Gently let go with a sigh.
And as you let go,
Close your eyes.
Relax.
Get ready to breathe.
Here we go and IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four,
IN two three four,
OUT two three four.
That's good!
Keep it going.
Fill up the entire capacity of your lungs on the inhale.
Keep it smooth,
No force.
Smooth on the inhale,
Smooth on the exhale.
Let's go.
Breathe in deeply.
From your root,
Through your belly,
Through your chest.
Making a circular motion around your head as though you're cycling.
A kind of energy.
An electrical current around your body.
As though you're cycling.
A kind of energy.
An electrical current around your body.
That's good.
Keep it going.
That's good.
Smooth on the inhale,
Smooth on the exhale.
Keep going.
Feeling the energy build up inside.
Creating a supercharge from deep within.
That's building.
Keep it going.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Remember that force.
Smooth on the inhale,
Smooth on the exhale.
Now in a moment,
Be prepared for a change of rhythm.
We'll get faster.
Keep it going at this pace for now.
You should be feeling a tingly sensation inside.
That energy building up from deep within.
That's good.
You're going to be ready for the day,
The challenges of the day.
Keep going.
Now get ready for a faster rhythm.
In,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
And in,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
Keep it going.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
In,
Out.
It's feeling good.
Well done.
Keep it going.
That life force from deep within.
It's building up.
Keep going.
In,
Out.
That's good.
This is the energy you need.
Creating that supercharge from deep inside.
Keep it going.
We're almost there.
You know what's coming.
Get ready for a breath retention.
But keep breathing at this rate.
Keep going.
You're stimulating your own creation.
You're stimulating your own creative potential from deep inside.
Keep going.
Keep it smooth.
No force.
Build that energy up.
Keep it going.
Build that energy up.
Keep it going.
It's good.
Almost there.
Get ready for the breath retention phase.
Starting with a deep inhale.
Inhale all the way.
Hold.
Exhale with a sigh.
All the way.
And then add a little hiss at the end.
Hiss.
Hold.
Breath retention phase.
Hold that breath.
And then as you pause on your breath,
Enjoy this moment of stillness.
This meditative state that you're familiar with.
Now,
Think about these words.
Who am I?
What do I want to achieve today?
What do I really want?
What does it feel like to have it?
Are there any thoughts or feelings or ideas that emerge at this time come from within?
So they're important.
Listen to them.
Now,
Here you go at your own pace.
Whenever you're ready to breathe in,
Try a short inhale.
Exhale,
Then hold.
So a quick hold.
But again,
Don't do this at anything other than your own pace.
You've been here before.
You know how long you can hold.
Just resist that first urge.
It's good.
Enjoy this moment.
When you're ready,
Take a deep inhale all the way.
Hiss.
Hold.
And then squeeze the mulabanda,
Which is the perineum muscles.
Squeeze those muscles that you use to hold your urine to stop the flow.
Squeeze now.
Imagine a ball of light rising up your spine,
A ball of energy.
And hold your breath.
And enjoy the feelings.
Keep your body straight.
Imagine that energy.
The charge rising up your spine to the midbrain.
When you're ready to let go,
Exhale with a sigh.
Ahhhhhhh.
That's good.
If you want,
Take another deep inhale.
Go with a sigh before you get ready for the next phase.
Ahhhhhhh.
Just like round one,
4-4 rhythm.
The music's building up.
Get ready.
Feel that shiver through your body.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Ing rates for 28,
4,
28,
4.
That's good.
Do make that sigh on the exhale.
Keep going.
Again you're building up that energy inside.
It's feeling good isn't it?
It doesn't matter what you believe in.
You can imagine that ball of light.
You can imagine that thing called Prana.
That life force energy.
You know these moments.
Inhale,
Exhale,
The sympathetic and the parasympathetic responses being activated.
They're doing really good.
Well done.
You're connecting deeply,
A smooth circular breath.
Breathing deeply from the root through your belly,
Through your chest,
Around your head.
Now just like in the first round,
The rhythm is going to get faster.
So get ready.
You're doing well.
You're building up.
Here it comes.
One,
Two,
One and.
.
.
That's good.
No force.
Smooth on the inhale.
Smooth on the exhale.
Keep it going.
That's good.
Building up that energy.
Keep it going.
Keep connecting.
That smooth consistent rhythm.
You're doing well.
Keep going.
Breathe from the belly.
You know this.
Keep going.
Almost there.
Build that energy up inside.
Remember,
You're needing this for the day.
This is the charge that will give you your clarity,
Your wisdom,
Your creativity,
Your energy.
This is your day.
Get ready for a big inhale.
And inhale all the way.
Hold.
Squeeze the muscles.
Exhale all the way.
Let out all the air.
Let out a little hiss at the end.
Expel everything inside.
And hold.
Here,
Just like the last,
You go at your own pace.
There's no competition here.
There's no force.
Just enjoy this moment.
This beautiful meditative state.
The feeling of calm.
Now again,
Ask yourself the following questions.
Who am I?
What do I really want?
And what does it feel like to have it?
Plant these words into your conscious mind.
The thoughts,
Feelings or ideas that emerge from within,
They're important.
Listen.
You resisted that first urge to inhale.
A short inhale,
Exhale.
And hold.
When you're ready to take a big inhale,
Do so again at your own pace.
Squeeze the perineum muscles.
Imagine that ball of light rising up your straight back,
Your spine,
To your midbrain,
Leading you with creativity,
With energy.
Hold your breath.
Holding both your breath and the perineum muscle.
And when you're ready,
Let go with a sigh.
And if you like,
Take another deep breath in.
Hold.
Squeeze.
And gently let go with a sigh.
Return your breath to a normal breathing pattern.
Just enjoy this state.
Enjoy these feelings.
Knowing that today is going to be a new one.
And let go.
And hold.
And let go.
And let go.
And let go.

I really enjoyed this. Iโm still wondering if the breathing is all done with the mouth or mouth and nose or just the nose

So good! Thank you!๐๐ฝ love the music, so itโs hard not to move so I do this laying down. It stop rather abruptly rather than fades at the end. Definitely a bookmark track though! ๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐๐ฝ๐

Great guidance. The choice of background music that matches the breathing pace, as well as the subtle breathing sounds are very helpful. Thank you!
