Welcome to your womb space meditation.
Before we begin,
Just take a moment to close your eyes and connect to the natural rhythm of your breathing.
In and out.
When we speak of the womb here,
I want you to know that we're talking about it as an energetic principle rather than an organ.
This,
This womb space,
It's a luminous presence within everyone.
Female,
Male,
Non-binary.
And this meditation is a way to connect deeper with the inherent flow of receptivity and calmness within our own bodies.
It's all within us.
Let's begin.
As you breathe in,
Place one hand on your heart and then the other on your belly.
Notice your breathing and take a nice deep exhalation out.
Today we're going to be focusing on this womb space in your body,
Two to three inches below your belly button.
And it's along the central line of your body.
I call it the womb space,
But you may have heard it called Hara or Dantian,
Lower Dantian.
It has different names within different practices.
This center of power and presence is where we're going to be focusing our energy for the next few minutes.
If you can,
Just imagine this space glowing with an innate and oozing warmth.
Sense this energy pulsating,
Rounding out your pelvis without any direction from you.
Just a vessel of peaceful wisdom.
Sometimes it helps to move your body in circles or figure eights if you're in a circle.
But either way,
Just keep breathing.
When I'm feeling frazzled or overwhelmed,
This is the area in my body I focus on to connect back in with myself,
With my own presence and power.
It's a direct link back to the intuitive wisdom of your own body,
A trusting wisdom.
Take another deep breath in,
Visualizing the warmth in this bowl of honey beneath your belly button.
And as you breathe out,
Ask this warm,
Glowing space in your belly if it has any words of wisdom for you at this moment,
Any ways to bring more peace and depth into your life.
Notice any quiet words,
Sounds,
Or visuals that may appear.
I'll hold space for you while you make a connection.
Keep breathing and place your hands gently on your lap.
Did you notice any sensations,
Any fullness,
Any insights?
The more time you take to connect with this innate wisdom in yourself,
The more receptive and alive you'll feel to life.
This is creative power.
You have a wisdom greater than your limited human understanding right in the center of your belly.
All you have to do is open up to it.
If you feel inspired,
Take a moment to journal about what the sensation feels like to you.
It will help you to recognize it and trust it when you inevitably feel it again in the future.
Let this be the beginning of a beautiful journey.
