Good morning to you all.

I hope you had a beautiful rest cycle and that you're ready to embrace a new day.

So to start,

Get into a comfortable seated position.

Close your eyes.

Find your breath and imagine your body lining up with your soul.

They're best friends so they both do better when they're in the same place at the same time.

Take a moment to feel the floor underneath the body and imagine watching the sun start to rise over top a dense forest of trees and the sun rises higher and the birds start to sing their morning songs.

Everything is coming to life before you.

What a gift.

As you listen to the birds,

What qualities can you hear in their songs?

Do you hear joy,

Excitement,

Freedom?

Relax your body and let those qualities resonate through you.

Breathe.

The birds don't wait to see what kind of day it's going to be.

They just start singing.

They make their impression on the world,

No invitation necessary.

They share what's in them to be expressed in celebration,

In song.

The sun rises even higher in the sky and sunbeams reach down for you now,

Touching your feet.

Good morning feet and greet your body.

Morning time is so rich for connection.

Have you ever noticed it's the only time a day that we greet one another?

Good morning.

Say it now to your legs and as you do,

Watch the bright beam of light just like the sun rising in front of you.

Grow up the feet,

Over the legs,

Up into the pelvis now.

Good morning hips,

Stomach.

Breathe in nice and deep,

Bringing that beautiful morning sunshine feeling into the torso,

Up to the shoulders and feel the light grow outwards to the left and to the right,

Embracing the arms.

Good morning wrists,

Fingers.

Using the breath,

Bring that light up into the shoulders.

Good morning neck,

Jaw,

Face.

Bring the warm light into the caves of the inner ear,

Illuminating the inside of the skull and say good morning to your head,

To your brain,

To your mind and try to sit back into the deepest part of yourself for a moment,

What I like to call the soul and feel the glow of morning sunlight all around your physical body,

Vibrating pure energy.

Take a few breaths and relax and see if you can smile with your heart for a moment.

Bring to mind a word that describes a quality that you'd like to bring into your day today.

Pick something that takes place internally that moves outwards into the world around you as opposed to the other way around.

Some examples might be courage,

Confidence,

Kindness,

Joy.

In other words,

Try not to pick something that the outside world has to give to you.

When you have your word,

Repeat it in your mind a few times and now let the words sort of float into the background but let the quality of it come into your body.

Let the meaning stay with you.

Feel into that quality and try it on with your body.

Be it for a moment.

What does it feel like in your stomach?

What sensations are in your gut with this quality in your body?

And what about your eyes?

How does the world look with this quality on?

Just like seeing the world through rose-colored glasses,

See how the world looks through the lenses of your quality.

What does your day look like?

What do you see around you?

What is your attention drawn to?

Pull that quality now into your spine.

Feel it in your posture.

How do you hold yourself with this trait present?

What are you communicating with your body to other people?

Feel into the posture of the shoulders,

The head,

The chest.

See if the way that you breathe feels different.

Feel into the heart.

How does the heart play the song of this quality?

What are your interactions look like?

How do you communicate and connect with others,

With co-workers,

Family,

Friends,

Strangers?

Just watch how this quality helps you be with life,

Not control it.

What does the end of your day look like?

What would you do for yourself if that quality was present?

Practicing this quality,

Visualizing it,

And feeling it creates a pathway in the brain that really opens us up to possibilities.

Now that you have a sense of this quality,

Let's come back and listen to the birds singing.

They're inviting you to share yourself with the world.

Let's take two more energizing breaths,

And I want you to relax,

Feel the sun resting on your face,

That ball of sunshine radiating around your body.

Now feel back into the room,

Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.

Visualize the room you're in,

The furniture,

The colors,

The textures,

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me this morning,

And I wish you a beautiful day.
