Good day to you.
This is Eric with AetherReality Lifestyle Design.
Before we get started,
I want to personally thank and honor you for taking the time to connect with nature,
Show yourself some personal compassion and kindness,
And in turn,
Show the world the same intentions.
Today,
I would like to share with you a simple and very effective nature connection and breathing exercise that you can do literally anywhere,
Anytime.
The breathing style we are using today is known as surrender breaths,
And we are focused specifically on how we are breathing in this session.
Our focus is to inhale through the nostrils and then make the exhalation out of the mouth a few counts longer than the inhale.
This will allow you to check in with your current mood,
Regulate your body and breathing,
And cultivate a peaceful state so you can approach life in a much more resourceful manner.
This practice will take about 10 minutes,
But you can tailor the length longer or shorter as you see fit.
During this time,
I would ask you to be fully free of distraction,
As best you can,
And devote this small window of time to your presence.
As you prepare for this exercise,
Please find a safe and relaxing area to sit or lie down.
Get comfortable in your position and adjust as needed,
Maybe getting 5-10% more comfortable.
At this time,
I would invite you to close your eyes,
Take a few regular breaths,
And check in with your current state.
Take note of any sensations or thoughts that are arising within you.
Simply notice them and then let them pass along like clouds in the sky.
Go ahead and try some surrender breaths now.
Inhale through the nostrils,
And extend your exhale out of the mouth.
Great.
Terrific.
Stay focused on gentle inhales through the nostrils and the longer count exhale out of the mouth.
Continue on with your surrender breaths at your own tempo.
I'll check back in with you at the end of this session,
And we'll sound a bell to signify the closure of our practice today.
And as we come to closure of our practice today,
I would invite you to wiggle out your fingers and toes.
Do some gentle movements with your arms and legs,
And welcome yourself back to your vessel.
Go ahead and slowly open your eyes,
And let the gratitude flow as you tap back into your senses.
Thank you again for taking the time to regulate your body and enjoy a little slice of nature.
Namaste.
