Thoughts are like clouds passing by.

They appear and they disappear.

Holding onto thoughts is like holding onto a cloud.

They serve your being no real purpose.

Your being is like the great blue sky,

Vast and great.

A wise woman once said,

Clouds cannot exist independently without the vast blue sky.

But the vast blue sky can exist independently without the clouds.

Are you the vast blue sky?

Or are you the clouds?

When you pay too much attention to thoughts,

You limit your being to the frequency of the thought.

The more you give your power to thoughts that do not serve your being,

The more you emotionally invest,

Ultimately limiting your power to an equation you have created in your mind.

This can create energetic bonds with limiting thoughts that hold you back from being your full potential.

An ancient Tibetan master once said,

Thoughts have the power to create.

Thoughts have the power to destroy.

Thoughts have the power to love.

Thoughts have the power to hate.

Be mindful of your attention as they fuel your thoughts.

Your thoughts are charged with a frequency.

Every thought has a certain charge of energy.

Negative thoughts stress your body.

Positive thoughts nourish your body.

Developing the skill to only pay attention to the thoughts that serve you is an essential tool for happiness.

It cultivates only positive emotions in the body.

Too often we are unconscious and allow negative thoughts to rent space in our heads.

This can result in mental exhaustion.

Having the awareness to channel our attention to thoughts that represent love,

Joy,

Inspiration,

Motivation,

Creation,

And gratitude has a remarkable effect on our health.

Not only does it release feel-good chemicals in the body,

But it also combats against stress and anxiety.

In this meditation,

You will develop your awareness to rise above thoughts in order to connect to your true power.

The power that transcends the limiting realm of thinking to enter the limitless realm of creation.

A wise woman once said,

Realizing you are not your thoughts is the first step in liberation.

Sit in any comfortable meditative posture.

Maintain a nice straight back.

Bend your chest.

Roll your shoulders back.

Place hands on your knees.

Or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.

Gently close your eyes and mouth.

Let's start by taking a nice long deep breath in through the nose and out through the nose.

Start to take in some long deep conscious breaths for the next few moments.

Expand your abdominal region with each in-going breath.

Close for a few moments.

Then slowly release by sucking your navel into your spine.

Make sure you release every bit of air so you can take in a nice long deep breath.

Gently being conscious of each breath and ensuring you take in full breaths.

Try to take in as much oxygen as possible.

Make sure you release all the air out on the exhalation.

Let go of something each time you exhale.

Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed with each breath.

Now allow your natural harmonious breath to take place.

Do not interrupt the flow of breathing,

Just allow your natural rhythmic breath to take place.

Simply scan your body and be aware of any physical sensation.

Simply observe all sensations without any interpretations.

Now focus your attention behind your forehead.

This is your mental screen.

This is where you will observe all your thoughts as if you were watching a show.

Thoughts will come,

Thoughts will go.

Just simply observe your thoughts.

Thoughts will audition for your attention,

But keep your attention within your body,

Within your breath.

Thoughts are like clouds,

They appear and disappear.

Thoughts cannot exist without the great blue sky.

Are you the cloud or the great blue sky?

Thoughts cannot exist independently without awareness.

Are you the awareness or your thoughts?

Awareness can exist without thoughts.

Be the awareness.

Observe the awareness.

Be aware of awareness.

Thoughts will come,

Thoughts will go.

Let them come and let them go.

Stay as the awareness and just simply observe without any judgements or interpretations.

Feel yourself being the great blue sky.

See the image of the great blue sky.

Feel your power.

Connect with this infinite space within you.

Stay neutral.

Be on all likes and dislikes.

Do not follow any thoughts.

Do not attach your attention to any concepts.

Do not identify with any ideas.

Thoughts will come,

Thoughts will go.

Let them come,

Let them go.

Thoughts have no power over you.

They need your attention.

Just simply observe your thoughts.

Be the witness.

Stay as the awareness.

Thoughts are like raindrops dissolving into the vast ocean.

Are you the raindrops or are you the ocean?

The ocean of consciousness is within you.

Connect with this ocean.

Feel yourself falling into a deep state of relaxation.

With each breath you feel peace and joy.

Feeling the calmness throughout your own body.

Keep your attention within.

Embrace the stillness and silence within you.

Allow the peaceful sensations to spread throughout your body with each breath.

Now embrace this silence and only stay in a state of observation.

Do not allow thoughts to take your attention.

This is just fyi: there is guidance and ambient sound throughout, then about 25 seconds of pure silence during the last minute. May be good to plan additional time to sit with the timer on silent afterward to further soak up the benefits.
