Transcript

Do not listen to this recording while driving or if you are operating machinery.

Only listen when you can safely relax and are able to get as comfortable as possible.

You can start by sitting down in a comfortable position.

Sit with your back straight without tightening or overarching,

Or you can also choose to lie down on your back.

You should have your legs on bent and uncrossed as it is important for you to be as comfortable as possible.

Your arms at your side or in your lap.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

And continue to take a few deep breaths to relax your body.

Take the air in through your nose,

Breathing deeply into your lungs,

And release the breath through your mouth.

And feel your energy settling into your body and into this present moment.

As you breathe deeply,

You'll feel your body becoming heavier and more relaxed.

After taking a few deep breaths,

Stop trying to control your breath and allow it to come and go as you wish from your body naturally.

Focus on your breath as it comes into your body and as it leaves.

As you breathe in and out,

Move your focus from your breath down to your heart.

You might want to,

And find it helpful,

To place one or both of your hands over your heart.

As you do this,

Say to yourself wholeheartedly and with clarity,

May I be well,

May I be happy,

May I be peaceful,

May I be loved.

Allow yourself any thoughts or feelings or sensations you may experience as you say these words to freely flow as you repeat these words.

May I be well,

May I be happy,

May I be peaceful,

May I be loved.

It may be difficult to say these words to yourself.

Become aware of the feelings,

But at the same time,

Allow them to flow over you as you repeat,

May I be well,

May I be happy,

May I be peaceful,

May I be loved.

With each breath,

Let these phrases and love come out from your heart to every cell in your body.

May I be well,

May I be happy,

May I be peaceful,

May I be loved.

Now,

Bring to your mind someone that you care about,

A good friend or a family member,

Someone who you look up to in a positive view,

Someone that you enjoy spending time with and are comfortable simply being around them.

Say their name to yourself,

Feel their presence.

Perhaps it might be helpful to visualize this person sitting in front of you.

Direct love and kindness towards this person.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

As you repeat these words,

Feel the love and joy in your heart.

Feel this love as it spreads from your heart to every cell in your body.

Visualize it radiating out of your body and touching this person.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

With each wish for them,

Imagine them receiving your love,

Kindness and joy as it surrounds their body and spirit.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

Allow yourself to be in this loving moment.

Think of someone who plays some small role in your life that you don't know very well or don't have any particular feelings for or are against.

Maybe it's the person who helps you at a restaurant or a cashier at the store.

Or someone that you see every now and then on the street or on the bus.

Imagine this person sitting right in front of you.

Now,

Direct love and kindness towards this person.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

As you repeat these words,

Feel the joy in your heart.

Feel it as it spreads from your heart to every cell of your body.

Visualize it radiating out of your body and touching this person.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

With each wish,

Imagine this person feeling and receiving your love,

Kindness and joy.

As it surrounds their body and spirit.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

May you be loved,

Be in this moment of love.

Now,

Think of someone you're having difficulty with in your life.

A family member,

A friend,

Perhaps a roommate.

Someone that you work with or someone you're experiencing conflict with.

Someone where there is unhealthy communication.

Say their name.

Imagine this person sitting in front of you now.

You can direct love and kindness towards this person.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

Sending love or loving kindness to this person may be difficult.

To forgive them,

To understand them,

To accept them.

You may struggle.

Just let these feelings come up and feel them as you continue to wish this person loving kindness.

Do not be hard on yourself if this is a challenge for you to do.

Just continue to say,

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

As you repeat these words,

Feel the love and joy in your heart.

Feel it as it spreads from your heart to every cell of your body.

Visualize it as this energy flowing out of your body and touching this person.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

With each wish,

Imagine this person receiving this love,

Kindness and joy as it surrounds their body and their spirit.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

Be in this loving moment.

Now,

Visualize kindness,

Love,

Happiness,

Well-being and peace.

Let this radiate from you and from your heart out to the person who is close to you.

The person you don't know but who touches your life.

And the person you have difficulties with.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be peaceful,

May you be loved.

Now,

Return to this current space in time.

Bring with you the feelings of kindness,

Peace,

Well-being,

Love and happiness.

Carry with you the rest of your day,

Week,

Month,

Year and share it with others.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes and stretch your body.

Feeling better than ever,

More energized,

More confident and ready to love.
