Hi,
I'm Camilla Seca Dallarob and this is the I AM meditation.
The I AM meditation is actually one of my favorite meditations and one that I use daily and my clients use often.
When you use the I AM,
You simply connect the words to your breath.
So I on the in breath and AM on the out breath.
So the words I AM becomes your focus.
What is so great about this meditation is that you can use it at any time of the day.
If you use it in the morning,
For example,
You can choose a motivational word for the day like I AM confident or I AM energized if you're feeling tired to set you up for the day.
Or if you're using it in the evening,
You could choose to use words like I AM calm,
I AM relaxed.
So whichever word works for you,
Just go ahead and choose one or simply allow your mind to finish the sentence as you continuously repeat the words I AM with your breath throughout this practice.
Let's begin.
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Just connect here to the breath,
Allowing whatever thoughts and feelings that are present in your mind to be there.
No need to change or control anything in this moment.
Just accepting and allowing.
In just a moment,
You will hear the sound of the bell.
Just to let you know that I'll mind the time for you.
So you can go ahead and fully relax.
I'll let you know when it's time to finish.
For now,
As you connect to the breath and how it's flowing through the body,
Imagine this wave of calmness flowing in over the body right up to the chest with calmness and then leaving through the arms with relaxation.
Just connecting to the words calm on the in-breath and relax on the out-breath.
Letting that calmness flow through the body with every in-breath,
Releasing,
Relaxing,
Allowing thoughts,
Noises,
Feelings to come and go throughout this practice.
Knowing that you can return home to the breath at any time to the words I am once we begin.
Calm.
Relax.
I'm going to say the words I am.
Just go ahead and repeat them silently in your mind,
Finishing the sentence with whatever word works for you.
I on the in-breath and am on the out-breath.
I am.
Letting just those words be your focus,
Returning back to those words again and again.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
I am.
Just sit here for a moment.
Enjoying having connected to the peace within and around.
From this peaceful place.
Go ahead and just set yourself an intention.
Perhaps for the day or the night.
When you hear the sound of the bell,
Just go ahead and take a deep breath in,
Sealing this meditation.
Coming back to the space you're in.
And opening your eyes.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
