You can have your breathing space and the earth will still spin. A little time out of the world, meaning a little time spent deepening into your rich inner realms, reaps innumerable rewards. Use this meditation when you are craving personal space, relaxation, self-connection. Use it when the world has become over-demanding. Use it to find a more languid, luxurious rhythm. Use it to breathe again. Be yourself again. And remember who you are. ~ Delicious music "Sonic Soothing" from Sonesence ~

You can take breathing space and the earth can still spin.

As you settle into this brief but rejuvenating private time in your personal space,

You might want to say that to yourself.

And affirm it for yourself.

I can take breathing space and the earth will still spin.

She knows what she's doing Mother Earth and she has her own rhythms and you have yours.

This is an opportunity for you to lie or sit back on the earth and come into your own rhythms,

Your inner world.

It's rhythms.

The rhythm of your breathing,

The hum of the circulation of life inside of you,

Your own heartbeat,

Your own body and your own presence.

As you settle in,

Feel that,

Feel your own body,

Feel your presence and feel the presence of the earth underneath you and how you can begin to wriggle and stretch and relax and settle into her embrace.

She has you and for a while,

A short while,

All you need to know is that the earth has you,

You're safe,

You're supported,

There's a stable base underneath you and you can relax and melt yourself into that space.

Invite your breathing,

Your spirit,

The life force of your inner world to awaken and arise and travel inward and just hang out there.

Let your nerves be nourished,

Let your cells be nourished.

Give yourself some breathing space.

Welcome your breathing.

As you let yourself settle,

Just allow your breath to make no demands of you.

It doesn't.

There's nothing to change here,

Nothing to force.

Just let your breath be exactly what it is,

No demands,

No requirement.

And enjoy it.

What are all the good things that happen on the inside when you're aware of your breathing?

That intimacy you have,

That personal connection.

Perhaps a feeling of reunion with yourself as you breathe your own breath.

Feel your own heart rise and fall.

Feel your belly soften and relax and then fill again.

Scan around your body in your own time,

Maybe beginning with your feet and working your way up and around.

All those pathways inside of you which are lit and illuminated by your breath.

What are you finding there?

Are there parts calling to you?

They might be calling to you,

They might be calling to you.

Are there parts calling to you?

They might be calling with tenderness or tightness.

Can you bring extra breath to those places which need the spaciousness,

The soothing lip arm of your breath?

Can you fill those parts right to the top of your breath and then release entirely?

Let them let go.

That can feel very good in areas where there's soreness or stickiness or tightness.

Allow your body to invite your breath in to where it's needed most for the next few moments.

You may notice that the longer and more languid,

Lighter,

Lingering breaths you take the better your body and your being feels.

That you can lengthen your inhalation and your exhalation.

That they can meander like a river down a mountain.

Your breath can take its time and when it does there's a delicious depth.

Perhaps a sense that you're being caressed or stroked or massaged on the inside and that can feel good paying that attention to the inside and giving it a beautiful therapeutic massage with this long lingering breath of yours.

Make it luxurious and savouring.

Feeling the tension leaving your body in its own time.

Feeling with every inhalation,

Every new breath you're filling up with something fresh and vitalising.

Feeling space opening up in all your inner realms as if doorways and gates to deeper parts of you on the inside are opening.

As you tune in to the inner realms of your body and your body.

As you tune in how deep can you go?

How far inwards can you drop?

There are secret and magical places inside of you.

Waiting for you to breathe your breath there like magical parts of a deep enchanted forest or a secret garden that goes on forever.

Just remembering that that's what you have in your inner territory.

Can feel thrilling,

Vitalising and like a secret that you alone know.

These are your spaces.

They are private,

They are sacred,

They are magical.

As you breathe and you travel deeper and deeper into your being,

Your inner being.

Letting its outer wrapping,

Your skin and bones,

Relax and release into the earth.

Have a sense that you are going into places inside of yourself that will reward you.

Deep personal space.

Sanctuary.

Mystery inside and it's yours.

Allow it to keep opening and unfurling.

Any sense of dreaming or drifting,

Welcome it.

Follow the trail of your own intuition.

Let yourself be free.

Let your breath,

This magical movement on the inside of you.

Be delicious and sweet and deep.

Feel your essence,

Every part of it,

Awaking.

Shimmering inside of you as you make this reunion with it.

Just take a few more moments bathing in that luminosity.

Taking a bath in your own sacred,

Sparkling essence.

Sink it.

And now gently begin to feel the call again.

And now gently begin to feel the call again of the outside world.

A call to return from the depths but take your time.

Travel back slowly and tenderly.

Feeling your breath again,

Feeling your body,

Feeling your environment where you are right now.

Feeling the welcome of life always coming to you.

Feeling the welcome of life always calling you.

And staying very close to your presence.

And this world that you have opened up again on the inside,

Start to make your way back.

As your physical body gives you prompts,

Organically follow that,

Maybe stretching gently or making very subtle movements.

Up to you.

Taking some big clear breaths.

Maybe taking your arms wide and over your head and letting your eyes gently open.

And when they open,

Spending a little time with your gaze soft,

Allowing the outer world to assimilate again.

Still feeling that deep connection.

And returning to life with a refreshed personal space,

A fresh heart,

Fresh eyes,

New energy.

Remembering who you are and the magic of your life.

Gradually make your way back into your day.

Love this. Has so much, filling, satiating, from within. Just what I needed tonight as feeling a little lonely and empty and lost. This brought me back to a fuller self. Thank you. Perfect!
