By listening to this audio you accept all responsibility for its correct use or misuse.

Because this meditation will place you in a deep trance,

It's important that you do not listen to this if you are driving,

Operating machinery or doing anything that requires your full attention.

If an emergency should arise that requires your attention,

You can be instantly alert and awake,

Energized and able to deal with whatever is required.

Please make sure you are in a safe and comfortable place where you will not be disturbed before continuing.

Let us begin by getting into a gratitude mindset.

Think for a moment of something in your life that you are grateful for.

It can be anything and doesn't matter how big or small it may be.

It could be that you are grateful for having a great family or a roof over your head.

Maybe you are grateful for an amazing meal you have recently eaten or just the fact that you have food.

Or maybe you are simply grateful for being alive and having this experience.

Whatever it is,

Close your eyes and think of it now.

Think how grateful you are for this one thing in your life.

And just feel the gratitude for this one thing.

And wouldn't it be nice to be grateful and relaxed at the same time?

And I'm sure you know that you can.

By feeling this gratitude you can allow yourself to relax now.

And maybe take in a deep breath.

Hold and let go.

And let go of all that stress and tension as you are filled with that sense of gratitude.

And another deep breath in.

And release.

Maybe sinking in your chair a little as you sink into a grateful relaxation.

And another deep breath in.

And out.

Relaxing down into the depths of relaxation and gratitude.

Allowing your breath to return to normal.

And being here means that you are grateful and everything is wonderful as you sink deeper and deeper into relaxation now.

And notice how easy it is as your unconscious mind takes over.

Leaving your conscious mind to think about being grateful or anything else as you relax into that deep meditative trance.

And I was wondering if you knew just how deeply relaxed you can be.

And that you could simply relax there now.

That's right.

Allow yourself to fall even deeper as I count back from three to one.

Allow yourself to relax even deeper than you have before when I count back from three to one now.

And you could lose track of time easily as your relaxation deepens again.

And this moment of meditation may seem like an instant or an eternity.

And maybe it is both as you remember now all the things in life that you are grateful for.

All the big things and all the small things.

And all the things in between.

And you realize that you have so much to be grateful for.

And sometimes in life we focus on the negative or the things that are wrong with our lives.

And now it is time to put them aside and focus only on that which you are grateful for.

And right now aren't you grateful that you are able to take the time to follow this meditation and focus on those things that you are grateful for.

While enjoying a deep and rejuvenating relaxation as not everyone has the time or desire to relax and focus on their inner mind.

But you do.

And that is something you could be grateful for as you relax in gratitude and say thank you for this time you have allowed for self care.

And another thing to be grateful for is your birth.

For without it you would not be here right now enjoying this deep relaxation and time for yourself.

So take a moment to acknowledge the gratitude you have for your birth and your awakening into existence that has allowed you to experience this life.

And there is an idea that the meaning of life is to experience all that you can,

Good and bad.

In fact good or bad is merely a judgement made through the cloud of emotion.

And you could allow that cloud to clear and see each experience as merely an experience.

An opportunity for growth and learning to evolve your consciousness and character to teach you that which you need to evolve further.

And all any experience is,

Is simply an experience.

And for that allow yourself to feel gratitude for all your experiences in life as each experience is your own and yours alone and helps build the archives of universal experience and allow yourself to say thank you for your birth and the experience of your life.

And how could you experience life without the body you have to experience it with?

This body that allows you to experience through your senses of touch,

Taste,

Sight,

Smell and sound.

Take a moment to remember a time when you touched something and it felt amazing.

Maybe it was something smooth or something soft or maybe it was rough or spiky.

Maybe it was something you wouldn't normally touch or maybe it was something you touch every day.

Was it hot?

Was it cold?

And was it dry?

Or was it wet?

Or was it somewhere in between?

Or a combination of all things?

Whatever it is,

Think back to the last time and all of the times you got to experience that touch and think how grateful you are to have the sense of touch that allowed you to feel that thing and say thank you for your sense of touch.

And now allow your memory to drift back to a time when you tasted something so delicious.

Maybe it was a whole meal or one particular item.

Maybe it was sweet or savory.

Maybe it was bitter or sour.

Maybe it was salty or vinegary.

Or maybe it was a perfect combination of all and you got to taste it.

And think how grateful you are that you got to taste this thing and how grateful you are that you can taste at all and say thank you for your sense of taste.

Now think of a time when you saw something amazing.

Something so beautiful it made you stop in awe of its physical beauty.

Maybe it was a spectacular view or a breathtaking sunset.

Maybe it was a piece of art or something formed by nature.

Maybe it was an animal or maybe it was a person and you notice all the colours that were present and all the shapes and notice how the light and dark blend in shadows and highlights to create the shapes and how you are able to see the depth in three dimensions.

And notice any movement that is happening all recorded by your sense of sight and how grateful you must be that you have this sense and say thank you for your sense of sight.

Now think of a time when you smelled a beautiful smell.

A smell so amazing you had to stop and breathe it in in all its glory.

Was it fragrant florals or perfumes or maybe fruity or citrus essence?

You may have had a woody or earthy aroma or maybe a sweet or minty bouquet.

Whatever that scent was how grateful are you that you got to appreciate that smell and say thank you for your sense of smell.

And now think of the most beautiful sound you ever heard.

Was it the voice of a loved one so very dear to you or the gong of a perfectly balanced bell or maybe it was a sweet song of a bird or the rushing noise of a waterfall?

Maybe it was a piece of music that speaks to your soul or the delicate sounds of nature.

Whatever that sound was how grateful are you that you got to hear it and say thank you for your sense of sound.

And all of these beautiful senses that you have would mean nothing if you didn't have the mind to process and appreciate all that they deliver.

And of course the mind does so much more than just process the senses.

It allows you to think and solve problems and understand things,

To remember the things you want and forget the things you don't.

It allows you to create and appreciate and most importantly it allows you to feel the gratitude that you must now be feeling for having a mind.

How grateful are you for having a mind that allows you to appreciate itself and the world around you.

And say thank you for your beautiful mind.

And one tool the mind has is its powerful imagination.

Imagination is one of the most powerful tools any of us has.

For anything to come into existence first we must imagine it.

Without imagination we would simply exist to eat and sleep and reproduce and repeat.

It is our imagination that has sculpted and created the world we live in today and for the moment allow any sense of judgement to fall away and simply appreciate the sense of imagination that you have and say thank you for your power to imagine.

The list of things to feel grateful for is endless and now that you are feeling this gratitude imagine a bubble around you.

A bubble of gratitude that surrounds you and can deflect all negativity for it is impossible for negativity to exist within gratitude.

So imagine your bubble of gratitude surrounding you and allow yourself to soak up all those grateful feelings that are inside.

And as you feel that gratitude,

That sense of thankfulness,

Notice how your bubble grows.

And the more grateful you feel the bigger your bubble grows and the bigger your bubble grows the more grateful you feel until your bubble expands to fill the room you are in.

And your gratitude increases to fill the bubble making it even bigger which makes you feel even more grateful as the bubble increases in size to fill the entire building and fill this building with gratitude for it gives you shelter and safety.

And grow your bubble until it fills the neighborhood you are in and fill this neighborhood with gratitude and all that is within it.

The people,

The animals,

The homes,

The shops,

The roads,

The entertainment,

The places to eat and feel gratitude for all the elements that make up this neighborhood.

And as your gratitude grows so does your bubble of gratitude and as it grows to encompass the whole country and feel grateful for all that is within the country,

All the people and facilities,

The resources,

The animals,

All the ways this country runs to allow you the life you have.

And grow your gratitude bubble even more to encompass the entire world and feel the immense gratitude not only from yourself but also from all the other beings that are also feeling grateful.

Be grateful for every aspect of this world from the oceans to the mountains,

The forests to the deserts,

The ground to the outer reaches of the sky and all the processes that take place on this earth to allow life to live and feel that immense gratitude for this planet,

For home.

As your bubble continues to grow out into space and to fill every part of this infinite universe and feel the greatest amount of gratitude for existence,

For yours and that of the universe are one in the same.

And expand your bubble of gratitude beyond that which is known to fill the places that are beyond even imagination and feel only gratitude for all.

And as your awareness slowly returns to you,

To your body,

To your surroundings,

Allow all that gratitude to be stored within you and know that by holding on to that sense of gratitude it will attract more things into your life for you to be grateful for.

And allow your consciousness to return to an awakened,

Alert state and allow your eyes to clear as if being bathed in a crystal stream and your lungs to clear as if being filled with crisp mountain air and allow all the blood to flow back to your arms and legs and stretch out your fingers and toes and stretch out your arms and legs and allow your eyes to open as you return to fully alert,

Awake consciousness now.

And it's amazing how grateful you can feel for all things,

Isn't it?

Amazing experience. Truly opened my eyes to just how much there is to be grateful for if we could just take a step back and experience things for what they are.
