Welcome.

My name is Emily and I'm so glad you're here.

This guided practice is an invitation to slow down,

Reconnect,

And notice what's happening within you without judgment.

There's no right way to do this meditation.

You don't need to clear your mind or change anything.

Simply allow yourself to be present exactly as you are and let this practice support you.

Settle into a comfortable seated position.

Allow the spine to lengthen naturally.

Let the shoulders soften.

Bring awareness to the breath.

Notice its natural rhythm,

Steady and unforced.

Begin to observe how effort shows up in your body.

Are you holding tension anywhere unnecessarily?

Jaws,

Shoulders,

Hands?

Now notice ease.

Where in your body do you already feel supported or relaxed?

Can you allow more of that quality to spread?

As thoughts arise about performance,

Comparison,

Or doing this right,

Gently notice them.

There is no perfect way to be here.

Yoga teaches balance,

Effort without strain,

Discipline without punishment,

Showing up with honesty and care.

For the next few breaths,

Practice meeting yourself where you are.

Not pushing,

Not collapsing,

Just present.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this balance with you.

As you finish this practice,

Reflect on the balance you experienced between effort and ease.

Consider how this balance might support you beyond the mat or meditation space.

Carry the steadiness with you into the rest of your day.
