Welcome to this short and sweet affirmation practice for new moms.

Motherhood is a beautifully chaotic time,

Full of intense emotions and a lot of new challenges.

I hope this practice helps you feel more centered and strong as you navigate all the fun of new motherhood.

If you can take a few minutes to be alone and in stillness while you listen to this guided meditation,

That's great.

But if you'd rather listen to this as you go about your day,

That's just fine too.

Either way,

Let's begin by taking a few juicy,

Deep breaths.

Inhaling fully,

Letting your belly expand,

And exhaling completely,

Releasing any tension you notice in your body.

A few more deep breaths here,

On your own time.

As you settle into a natural rhythm,

Allow each breath to bring calm and softness.

As I say each affirmation,

Feel the resonance of the words in your body.

First,

Bringing attention to your body.

This body that has gone through so much to bring life into the world.

Repeat to yourself,

My body is powerful and strong,

And I honor its journey.

My body has done something incredible,

And I am grateful for all that it's given me.

Every change in my body is a mark of strength and love.

I embrace my body as it is,

Knowing it's still adapting and healing.

Good.

If you've been feeling touched out or overstimulated,

Let these words bring you comfort.

It's okay to feel overwhelmed.

I am learning to listen to my needs with patience and compassion.

I am allowed to take space for myself.

I'm a better parent when I care for myself too.

It's okay to ask for help.

I don't have to do this alone.

I release the need to have everything perfect.

Good enough is wonderful.

In moments of stress,

I am learning to find peace within myself.

Now,

Let's bring awareness to any stress,

Perfectionism,

Pressure,

Or straight-up tiredness you're carrying with you.

Parenthood brings long nights and early mornings.

Repeat these affirmations silently to yourself.

Parenthood looks different for everyone,

And that's okay.

I give myself permission to do things in my own way and in my own time.

Even in my tiredness,

I am a loving and capable mother.

It's okay to let some things wait.

My well-being is more important than a perfect home.

I am allowed to focus on what's truly essential,

And I trust myself to find balance.

Setting boundaries is a gift to myself and my family.

I trust that I am enough,

Even on the most challenging days.

Finally,

Let's close with a few affirmations for self-compassion and inner strength.

I am learning and growing every day,

And I'm allowed to go at my own pace.

I am worthy of rest,

Care,

And kindness.

I forgive myself for any moments of frustration or impatience.

It's okay to have hard days.

I'm doing my best,

And that's more than enough.

Today I will look for moments of joy and gratitude,

However small.

Each day brings new gifts,

And I welcome them with an open heart.

Every small act of love I give my baby is shaping us both beautifully.

Take a final deep breath in,

And let it go.

Allow yourself to carry these words with you,

Feeling lighter,

More at ease,

And ready to face the day with renewed strength.

Know that you are doing beautifully,

Just as you are.

That was blissful, exactly what I needed today 🙌 I really need to learn to be kinder to myself and trust that I am a good mam even in moments of frustration and impatience. I feel a bit emotional after that, thank you 🤍
