Origins
by Sean Tebor
A guided meditation and inspiration to experience a profound return to our sense of origin through our orientation to midline, midspace, and the Source Axis, and our remembrance of the big questions that drive our curiosity and exploration of consciousness.

Sitting comfortably.
Breathing in.
You are unique as a cosmic assembly of a divine celestial machine.
Your quantum and larger particles assembling,
Emerging as soul,
Spirit,
Energy,
Creation.
Unique in all of space and time.
As you softly turn your awareness to your breath and allow for the breath to move in and out without any control or manipulation,
In a way,
Hold space for yourself by getting out of the way of the breath.
Giving consciousness an opportunity to observe itself in your unique life.
Have you ever wondered,
Have you ever asked the silent question in your cellular space?
What it is that is just so delicious about the experience of presence and what it is that draws us back time and time again to the unnameable experience that fuels so much exploration of consciousness in the human dynamic?
What is that law of attraction?
The closeness,
The proximity to something that touches us,
Breathes us,
Helps us orient to our center.
Lands us profoundly in our midline,
In our central axis.
And what really inspires and brings about the soul smile of what it actually feels like when we experience awareness,
Reflecting upon itself.
What is the beautiful invitation to return again and again?
We are in a way arriving within our personal temple space.
Perhaps we are coming home to our innate understanding of what we really are.
And we begin to look at the breath to observe the movement of the energy through our cells,
Through our flesh and bone and blood,
Through our neural nets.
And we begin to see,
Which means we begin to feel and experience in a much wider perspective.
This life that we can so easily take for granted becomes miraculous again and again.
This high frequency of return,
Meaning that more frequently we are glimpsing,
We are experiencing,
We are breathing the present moment.
This is about our orientation that is pre-mind.
What if you could,
In your meditation,
Find the mantra of orientation and gravity?
What if you could find a sense of gravity center down deep in the pelvis,
Down deep in the belly,
This core engine through which all creative energy yearns to come into being?
What if by way of simple dance and adjustment in how the pelvic bowl finds itself in gravity in relation to earth and to sky,
Could unlock the root of the midline and help us realize that presence in a body can precede and inspire the spaciousness of the mind.
I invite you to rediscover the impulse,
The primal drive that your power of self-awareness and consciousness in the moment is innate.
And there are certain qualities,
Certain universalities,
These golden threads that are shared in what is it that pulls us deeper and deeper into this yearning for the nourishment,
The deep wellspring of experiencing awareness as it is observing itself.
When you exhale,
There is an opportunity to let go of tension in certain places in the body that tend to very quickly allow us to arrive.
For example,
The next time you breathe out and really allow for the breath to be wide and thorough and patient,
Very,
Very patient,
Empty the pelvic floor.
If you have a sense of being able to feel the pelvic diaphragm,
Allow it to shed any density,
Any sense of heaviness.
You may also experience this as you breathe in.
The energy of the midline moves up through the inseams of the legs.
It enters through the pelvic floor into the core pelvis and belly.
The pelvic diaphragm is in so many ways our connection to root.
It is our umbilical connection to source.
So you may find yourself closer to origin when you're able to relax holding in the pelvic diaphragm,
The pelvic lens.
Meditation in so many ways is a practice of emptiness.
It is a practice of returning to our choice to return to,
In Sanskrit a beautiful word is Shunyam that describes the void.
There may be part of us that is sparked into fear by just the word void,
Nothing,
Emptiness,
Utter and complete emptiness.
But there was a touch,
A hint there in the word complete is that the other side,
The other perspective of the void is Purnam which is wholeness.
It is complete which I think you probably can orient to more easily.
If we put these two perspectives together of void and fullness,
Then you might say that we have arrived at unity,
Oneness.
When you empty the pelvic diaphragm and other special places usually close to the midline like the heart or letting the kidneys relax backwards behind the diaphragm,
The back of the diaphragm,
You give yourself access to axis,
A-X-I-S,
The source axis.
You give yourself the fundamental power of choice,
Letting go of residual tension of the charge lands us in the power of choice.
What are we choosing?
To again and again let go of those things that bind us.
The void,
The fullness which is just spaciousness in the pelvis,
In the core allows us to begin to know origin.
We deepen our personal relationship with source.
This is the space where all possibilities exist.
It is a way to feel at the very,
Very subtle quantum threshold all of the potentialities that continue to shape the present moment.
This experience reflecting to us how we can either through deep observation and deep presence be in alignment with that creative process or we may hinder it and it's possible to do both.
And how do we reside?
How do we remain in this space?
Perpetual emptiness,
Perpetual abundance where everything is curious.
What are all the possibilities in becoming,
Coming into existence?
How do we remain curious?
Reorientation is a reorientation not by force or manipulation but by way of love and understanding and wisdom.
It is a practice of reorientation to that which matters most.
Our personal proximity to source and our origin story.
What do we believe?
For every moment we've ever been awestruck and inspired looking up at the night sky and truly,
Truly feeling the profundity of what we are experiencing.
For every moment we have been completely saturated by the color of nature,
The color of the butterfly,
The spectrum of experience of resonating in the reality of existence.
How often do we experience such depth and have we ever put together the fact that to have such an experience usually requires some kind of unlocking,
Something is loosening,
Something is shifting at the same moment or maybe even beforehand.
Life,
Source is moving through us all our lives.
That is enough.
This is enough.
So our meditation is the practice of allowance,
Of alignment,
Of the deepest yes to source,
The deepest yes to the cosmos.
It is cultivating the creativity of our own beautiful perceptions,
Our story,
Our origin story.
It is a return to our amazing connections with each other and with everything around us and within us.
Meditation is a teaching that for all of the magic and all of the wonder and miracle and mystery that we discover sitting quietly in our relatively safe space,
That all of that must be integrated out in the wild,
In the wilderness of our lives,
In the moment of challenge,
In the moment of play,
In the moment of love,
In the moment of every moment that is possible engaged in life is our practice of integrated meditation.
And so perhaps you have a deeply rooted personal origin story and I hope that that is evolving all the time,
That it shifts and grows and changes and parts of it coming on more strongly,
More deeply,
More powerfully while other parts fall away because we are evolving like all of life and even perhaps like consciousness itself.
But without that root,
That sense of origin,
Orientation,
It can be more difficult.
Feel this in your breath.
Feel your truth in your bones.
Do not be attached to it.
One of the most powerful experiences of our lives is change,
Profound change of perspective.
So we thank all those that have come before us and we thank all those in our lives,
Not just people but trees and pets and rocks and rivers,
All of whom are our teachers.
Stay close to your root.
Stay close to your sense of source within.
Flourish and dance and play within your origin story and on your path.
