Take a nice deep breath in through the nose.

Ahhh.

Take a sigh,

Breathe out through the mouth,

Let out sound.

Do this a few times.

Breathe in through the nose.

As you exhale,

Relax your jaw.

Imagine dropping your shoulders.

Imagine relaxing your body.

Imagine relaxing your body.

Imagine dropping your shoulders.

Imagine relaxing your eyelids.

Taking sighs on purpose are a great way to relax the nervous system.

So start telling it to come out of a fight or flight response to move into a place of deep rest and nourishment.

Gently close your eyelids.

And start to bring your awareness to your heart center,

To your heart space.

As you bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

Imagine smiling from the heart.

And imagine that this heart energy is connected to unconditional love,

Unconditional worthiness,

Unconditional wisdom,

Clarity,

Joy.

Whatever you want to connect to in this moment,

Allow your heart space,

Your heart smile to connect.

And now imagine that this heart smile is moving with the circulation all the way through your entire body.

All the way to your fingers and your toes.

All the way down your spine.

All the way to every cell in your entire body.

So that it almost feels like a vibration of heart smiling energy of love.

Just vibrating every single cell of your body and notice how that feels.

Take another deep breath in through the nose and as you exhale and relax your jaw.

Imagine without thinking about how that you're relaxing twice as much.

Now start to bring your awareness to your bed.

Whatever you're resting on,

Pillows,

The blankets,

The sheets.

And now imagine that the bed is receiving your body relaxing into it.

And imagine how it feels for the bed to receive your body dropping and melting.

Now imagine you can feel your body melting into the bed.

Notice how it feels to be held by,

To be received into and supported by the cushions,

By the mattress,

By the blankets.

As you inhale through the nose,

Focus on letting go even twice as much again without thinking about how as you drop even deeper into the bed.

Notice how your breath is shifted.

Bring in awareness to your entire body.

And take a moment to come into a deep space of gratitude for how supportive your body has been your entire life.

No matter if you're dealing with any pain or chronic conditions.

Come into a space of gratitude for your body for being a collaborative organism,

A collaborative part of you being here right now.

Now imagine that your hands are an extension of this heart smiling energy that your hands are the vessels of love.

And notice if there's anywhere on your body that wants to receive a little bit of extra love right now.

Place your hands on that area.

And if you're already in a place of deep rest and want to own simply imagine placing your hands.

Working with your imagination is just as powerful as physically placing your hands somewhere on your body.

And start allowing your heart to overflow with this heart smiling energy sending it down through your arms to your hands.

To the parts of your body that are inviting a little more love and nurture calm worthiness peace.

Notice how it feels to give yourself that love.

And notice how that part of your body feels receiving love from you from your heart space from the heart smiling energy.

Breathe in through the nose.

Take a sigh.

Do that a couple more times letting out sound.

Allow the sound that's coming out to be a release of any one's energy you've taken on today that you're just giving it back to where it came from.

As I exhale through sound I give back the energy that I took on to where it came from whether it was a person,

Whether it was something you read on social media something you listen to on a podcast,

Whatever it was.

Give back to where it came from the energies you no longer need to hold on to today.

The energies that are not serving you to hold them.

You don't have to think about how or what you can just allow your body wisdom to do so as you sign let out sound,

Any kind of sound that feels good.

Sound is a vibration that moves energy through our body sound is a way to relax and soothe the nervous system.

Notice how your body right now is part of a cycle of life energy as you breathe in your breathing in life as you exhale your exhaling life energy and giving it back.

There's a consistent sharing receiving and giving with every breath cycle.

You have.

And notice how that feels to simply by existing.

How it feels to be part of the giving and receiving of nature of existence in this moment of presence.

As you continue to relax and come into a deeper space of rest.

Know that the power of the subconscious.

Always processes and works through things as you drift off to sleep.

And the beauty of the subconscious.

Is that it's very willing to process.

Conscious ideas and questions and thoughts we give it.

So consider what you would like your subconscious to process to clear up to let go of to clarify.

As you drift off to sleep this evening.

It might be asking your subconscious to let go of something you've been holding on to emotionally.

It might be asking your subconscious to give you an answer to a question a solution to a challenge.

Or a clear path forward towards a desire.

And notice what arises from your intuition.

Of what you want to request from your subconscious to process as you sleep.

As you rest.

As you find nourishment and stillness.

And then once you give the request let it go.

There's no reason to think more about it.

As you breathe in,

Breathe in a sense of trust.

That your body is brilliant.

That it's constantly in service of healing you.

As you exhale again if it feels good to sigh to let out sound.

To release what you no longer need to hold on to from the day from your thoughts from narratives or beliefs from emotions from tension.

The next time you exhale imagine your head is getting just a little bit heavier dropping into the pillow.

Imagine you're relaxing your teeth.

Imagine relaxing your eyes.

Imagine all the muscles that are holding your eyes in place are letting go of tension.

Releasing tension in your brain.

In your nervous system.

Imagine relaxing your eyelids and your eyebrows.

Imagine relaxing your forehead.

Your nostrils,

Your lips.

Bring your awareness to your inner ear.

Imagine relaxing the center of your ears.

And as you imagine relaxing the different parts of your face and head.

Imagine that this relaxation is pulsing like an ocean wave a gentle ocean wave all the way down your body to your toes.

To your toenails to your fingertips.

All the way down your back.

And that this energy of relaxation is washing through your entire torso.

Gently nourishing relaxing all the organs in your belly.

Imagine feeling your bones just drop a little bit heavier.

As they start to release tension.

Feel like they're getting heavier in the bed.

You might set set some intentions for yourself in this moment for your body.

I give permission.

I invite my body to let go of anything it doesn't need to hold on to right now I give permission to my body.

To get the deepest most nourishing rest it can in the amount of sleep I'm going to get tonight.

I let go of any anxiety or tension stress or worry that I might have around the amount of hours I'm getting.

And instead give my body permission.

To let the amount of sleep,

I have be so deep and nourishing that it gives me the perfect amount of energy to face my day tomorrow.

In a way where I can stay connected to myself,

To my truth,

To my joy.

I invite in a sense of peace.

Into the room into my bed surrounding my body I invite in a sense of nourishing comfort.

I invite in a sense of safety to this moment.

I bring a sense of safety and wrap my body in sheets and colors of connection of safety of nourishment so that as I sleep.

Every cell in my body is rejuvenated.

I invite my body to get so deep into rest tonight that when I wake up I feel refreshed.

I feel connected I feel ready.

For whatever the day presents.

Notice how your body is feeling in this moment.

Bring in a sense of gratitude.

Listening for connecting to whatever resonated from these words.

Have a sense of gratitude for any thoughts that have been nourishing that you've been having yourself.

Any sensations any visuals.

Continue to give your body permission to relax to let go into the bed.

Or whatever you're resting on,

Feel the gentleness of the sheets of the blankets of the pillows.

Allow your skin to bask in the sensation of rest of releasing tension.

Give permission for your breathing to slow to come into a place of deep rest,

Getting the perfect amount of oxygen releasing the perfect amount of carbon dioxide and other gasps to be in a deep state of health.

As you sleep tonight.

Bring awareness once again to your heart center.

Imagine smiling from the heart.

As you exhale relax twice as much.

Continue to give your body permission to gently drift off to sleep.

Give yourself permission to enjoy the feeling of drifting.

Transitioning from wakefulness to sleep.

And as we close out this meditation.

Give your body once again.

Give yourself some gratitude for the beautiful person that you are,

For how much you've grown into who you are in this moment.

And have a wonderful night's sleep.
