Welcome to your meditation of the day.

Thank you for joining me.

Come to a comfortable seat.

You can sit onto a yoga block,

A blanket,

A chair,

The floor.

Try to choose something that will lift your hips higher than your knees.

Stack your shoulders back over your hips and reach up through the crown of your head.

As you arrive physically,

Start to bring your awareness to your breath.

Not changing anything,

But just noticing.

Notice the depth of your breath,

The temperature of your breath.

Notice if there are differences between your inhales and your exhales.

And allow your breath to be exactly what it is for you in this moment.

Close down your eyes.

Flip your palms down.

For Chin Mudra today,

Bring your index fingers to your thumbs with your palms face down on your lap.

Start to imagine yourself at the beginning of a path.

This path can be made of gravel,

Dirt,

Sand,

Grass.

Maybe your path has snow,

Fallen leaves.

Take in your surroundings as your path on a field,

As your path in the forest,

As your path on the coastline where water meets earth.

In this moment,

Start to take in your surroundings.

What does it smell like?

Can you see in front of you?

Or is there brush in the way?

When you look up,

Do you see the sky or is there very little showing above the canopy of the trees?

Now imagine a hand reaching back for you,

Urging you to take it,

To be led down this path.

This hand is warm and you find trust.

Hold on to this hand and allow yourself to be guided.

As you continue down this path,

Take in the sights that surround you.

Notice how the terrain may change the further you go.

Imagine yourself walking down a hill.

There's a bit of a steepness on your descent.

Maybe here you slide a bit,

Maybe you trip,

But your guide has you held.

You know that although this moment may be challenging,

You have support.

Once you reach the bottom of this hill,

You continue on your path.

Maybe your surroundings have shifted.

Maybe your pace has slowed down.

As you continue to traverse this path,

You notice that now is the time to start ascending up,

Up to the top of a hill.

Maybe your hill looks a bit more like a mountain,

A volcano.

As you look up from the very base,

Although the top seems far,

Know that you are supported by your guide.

Start to put one foot in front of the other.

Pade pade.

And in the moments of challenge as you walk up the hill,

Know that it will not last forever.

That you are strong.

With the depth of breath,

You can make it to the top.

Once you reach the top of your mountain,

Of your hill,

Take a moment to look out at your surroundings.

How far does the earth stretch?

What does the ground look like below you?

So,

Holding on to your guide's hand,

Continue down your path,

Creating it as you go,

As we sit here for the next few moments in silence.

And again,

A moment of silence.

Now bring your awareness to your guide.

Imagine that your guide is the universe.

And the path it takes you on will have highs and lows,

Peaks and valleys,

Challenges and growth.

You find the same amount of trust in your life,

Knowing that there is purpose,

That the challenges bring ease,

That often the growth brings clarity,

And that as long as you are still breathing,

There is still such a long path to travel.

Pade,

Pade,

One foot in front of the other.

Keep moving forward.

Bring your hands to touch in front of your heart,

Anjale Mudra.

Lift your sternum up to meet your thumbs.

We will close our meditation with one final breath together.

Please inhale through your nose,

Fill up.

Inhale out of your mouth,

Let it go.

Draw your thumbs up to your third eye space.

I bow to you.

Namaste.
