Find a posture that feels like a posture of dignity,
Of joy,
Of self-respect.
Find your posture of strength.
And send your breath into your belly and send your breath out of your belly.
Imagine just breathing into the stomach and breathing out of the stomach.
And just spend some time here sending the breath right into the belly,
Into your center and breathing out from your core,
From your center.
And now put one or both hands on the heart.
Feel the hand on the heart.
Enjoy the hand on the heart.
And let's begin with gratitude.
First,
Gratitude for your good heart.
Gratitude for all this heart has felt.
Gratitude for every emotion that can now become your strength.
Gratitude to yourself that you meditate.
Gratitude that you know how to cultivate your inner world.
Gratitude for your own good intentions.
And gratitude for your sensitivity and your particularities.
Gratitude to your body as it is.
Gratitude for everything you've contributed with an open heart.
And with this hand on the heart,
Also gratitude for the entire earth you are on that contains so many opposites,
That contains so many people.
This earth which is always building the perfect curriculum for your growth or for your enjoyment.
And this heart that has space for every person as they are,
And has space for the entire earth as it is.
And with this hand on the heart,
Say,
Heart,
I know you've been through a lot.
My heart,
You've been through ups and downs.
You've been through love and heartbreak.
Heart,
Together we've been through every joy,
Every sorrow.
I am here to listen to you.
Heart,
I am here to nurture you.
I am here to do what feeds you.
I am here to be kind to you and to create situations where you can be loving.
Heart,
Everything you feel as you are,
I am always on your side.
I will never betray you,
Heart.
Thank you for everything you allow me to feel.
Thank you for all the ways you allow me to connect with others,
And to connect to myself,
And to connect to the earth.
With this heart,
I am here to make every choice.
With this heart,
I serve.
With this heart,
I practice non-harm toward myself,
And kindness to the people I love.
So feel the hand on your heart.
Feel the warmth you have to yourself,
The warmth of this heart to yourself.
The desire to nurture yourself.
And bring this expansiveness,
This loving attitude,
This self-appreciation,
Bring it to the rest of your day,
To the rest of your night,
To the rest of your week.
Seeing your worth deeply,
Respecting your heart even more deeply.
And thank you for doing this meditation of respect toward your heart.
And putting the hands down.
And now take a deep breath in.
And take a deep breath out through the mouth.
And as you breathe out,
Opening your eyes,
Coming back.
