Welcome to this practice session as we attune to our purpose.
I'm going to invite you to go ahead and settle in.
Get comfortable with your body.
Having a position that you can be in for the next few moments.
Not too rigid.
Not too collapsed.
Just the right position for now.
And as you're arriving,
Let's just go ahead and take a deep sighing breath.
So pull that inhale into the body and pause for just a moment.
And then sigh it out.
And just let yourself be fully here now.
Entering this practice with a softened gaze or even closing down the eyes.
Letting that breath come in and out of the nose.
Nice and long,
Soft,
Deep inhales.
Long,
Soft,
Full exhales.
Letting the breath be even.
Rhythmic.
Probably four to six counts in and out.
You don't need to track those timings.
You can just allow the body to figure out what four to six counts might be for you today.
Allowing the breath to have a circular or wave-like pattern.
So breathing in to the top of the inhale and then sliding back down with the exhale.
We won't extend the pauses.
Nice,
Long,
Even breaths.
And while we're breathing this long,
Even breath in and out of the nose,
If for any reason you feel a charge or an impulse to discharge with the body through some shaking or rolling,
Through the breath with sound exhaling out the mouth,
Just allow that to be followed easily and fluidly.
Letting the discharge move through.
And then returning to your rhythmic,
Wave-like breath.
And as you're breathing,
Just inviting yourself to open to the idea or the possibility that you're breathing or even being breathed by your purpose.
So right here from early on into our practice,
We're just noticing this breath coming in and beginning to recognize it as the relationship,
The resonance of our purpose.
And how might that shift how you receive the breath,
How the breath enters the body,
How you experience the breath moving the body,
Being breathed,
Being moved by my purpose.
Here I am receiving my purpose as a resource,
As a source,
As a connection,
As my relationship to life.
My purpose is enlivening me right now.
Receiving on the inhale.
And then allowing on the exhale for the breath to soften the body.
Open the body.
Maybe it feels like receiving on the inhale.
And surrendering on the exhale.
And if you were to give your purpose a color that was moving with this breath,
Moving as this breath comes into the body,
A color that could begin to fill up the body as it breathes you,
What might that color be?
Receiving it into the body on the inhale.
And allowing it to move through the body on the exhale.
Beginning to fill up every space and place,
Every muscle,
Organ.
Receiving the color of your purpose.
From the tips of your toes all the way up to the top of your head.
Every last cell.
And as you receive this color,
This light,
Into the body,
Begin to notice the temperature,
The texture,
The tone.
Open to the frequency of this purpose that is yours,
That is you.
As it fills the body.
What does it feel like to be filled with this frequency?
Maybe you can experience some tingles in the feet.
Buzzing in the hands.
What might you notice in the back of the heart?
How does this energy pulse in you?
What might you notice in your belly?
What might you notice all throughout the body?
As you are full and filled with this energy of your purpose.
This color,
This tone,
This texture,
This rhythm.
Resourcing you,
Fueling you,
Connecting you.
Enlivening you.
Just taking a few more deep drinks in of air,
Of breath,
Of purpose.
Experiencing it even more fully.
And then just saying out loud or to yourself,
A few I am statements as you really inhabit the sensations of this frequency.
Really feeling yourself moved by the breath.
By this purpose that is yours,
That is you.
And maybe starting with I am purpose or I am on purpose or I am in my purpose.
And then what else?
What are the other I am statements that want to be reclaimed or proclaimed here?
And as you say it,
Keep receiving the sensations,
Keep receiving the feelings.
The connection and the enlivenment.
Let the words be an expression,
A direct expression of what you're feeling.
And also let them circle back in.
Receive your own words back in as an amplification,
As a rooting into this experience.
I am.
And if there are choices that you're making,
Actions that you're inviting,
Places where you're moving into creation,
Manifestation,
Or even receiving through your purpose,
Through your creationary visions,
Through your service,
Then go ahead and declare that as well.
I choose aligned action.
Today I receive through my purpose.
I am on purpose and I am willing to move into aligned action.
Again,
Allowing the words to be a direct expression of the sensations of your purpose,
Moving your body with the breath,
With the energy,
With the frequency.
And also receiving the words back into the body as an amplification and an anchoring.
And then just bringing some light touch or tapping to the place in the body that you will make the somatic anchor of this cellular memory of your purpose,
Enlivening your body.
Just some gentle touch or tapping or rubs to anchor the somatic,
Anchor the sensation.
And as we begin to come out of this practice,
You're going to bring all of the sensation,
All of the awareness,
All of this experience with you.
And as you go through your day,
You just might have moments of tapping back into this place What we're inviting is that the place of even the most heightened awareness,
The most electric enlivened part of this process becomes our norm.
We're building a new home note inside the nervous system,
Inside our sensory inhabitation that allows us to live in total awareness,
In presence with the particularity of our own resonance as a normal part of our life.
So we practice this attunement not as something that we visit once in the day or once as we're just in practice and then we go back,
We come back,
No,
Here in this attunement,
We bring it with us.
And your role is to keep dropping back in,
Reawakening this in the body as you move through the mundane,
As you move through the normal,
And doing the attunement practice as a way to strengthen the resonant field so it becomes more and more anchored,
More and more known,
So that the habitualization of you includes this enlivenment from your own purpose.
So you can stretch now,
Yawn,
Wiggle,
Sway,
Whatever you might want to do.
Blinking open those eyes if they've been closed,
Taking in some textures and colors around your room,
And just noticing as you're breathing and opening to the external how much of that sensation,
How much of that awareness,
How much of that enlivenment you can still be with even as external stimulation comes in.
And this is the real work of integration.
We want to do these formal practices and bring them into our daily life.
So we go inward to discover and to excavate,
To anchor,
To align,
To have an epiphany.
But to integrate it,
We have to begin to apply it when we're holding some awareness,
When there is some stimuli that is outside of us.
So just go ahead and take another sighing breath.
Thank yourself for your practice.
Thank yourself for your purpose,
For all that it shows you and gives to you,
Such the gift of yourself that you get to receive the gift of your soul.
Beautiful work.
Well done.
Have a great rest of your day.
