Hello,

I'm Elisa.

Thank you for pausing to do this meditation.

I honor you for being here.

You are here.

You're here.

First,

Just stop and notice what you're feeling.

What are you feeling in your body?

What's your heart doing?

How about your stomach?

Your jaw,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Back,

Chest.

Just notice it.

The feelings happening in your amazing body.

What does it feel like?

This anxiety.

This fear.

Please know that what you're feeling is okay.

You are safe.

You are here.

What you're feeling is okay.

With that knowledge.

Take a deep breath.

Insofar as possible.

Take a deep breath.

To give your body what it needs.

It needs this time to pause and feel what you're feeling.

Don't resist it.

It might feel scary,

Unsettling.

But lean into it for a little bit here.

Feel what it is that you're feeling.

As you lean into it,

As you embrace it,

You loosen its power over you.

There's no need to be afraid.

Face your fears.

Breathe through your anxiety.

Watch your thoughts as they go by.

You can continue breathing.

And begin to find some stability.

Some courage to face the uncomfortable feelings you're dealing with.

As you inhale,

You may think to yourself,

I am here.

I am right where I need to be.

I am here.

I am right where I need to be.

Breathing in and out.

Observe the sensation of air coming into your nose.

Breathing in and out.

Breathing in through your lungs.

Expanding your belly.

Maybe even your back.

Deep healing breaths.

I am here.

I am right where I need to be.

Breathing in through your lungs.

Breathing in through your heart.

And though you might be hesitant,

You can begin to offer yourself compassion that you so need.

And that you deserve.

Don't wait for anyone else to give it to you.

Your hand on your heart is such a gentle,

Loving gesture.

Continue breathing and thinking,

Saying to yourself,

I am here.

I am right where I need to be.

I love and accept myself.

Breathing in and out.

I love and accept myself.

Take a few more breaths.

Allow your mind to wander.

Allow your mind to question these thoughts you're offering.

It's okay.

But continue to gently tell yourself.

I am here.

I am right where I need to be.

I love and accept myself.

Let the breath be the power that lets those words sink into your subconscious.

Continue breathing.

Continue repeating these phrases as long as you need.

What we've done today has been grounding yourself in your physical body.

Practicing some radical acceptance of what you're feeling.

And then offering yourself compassion.

You have no knowledge of how things will work out,

How the thoughts racing through your mind will be resolved.

And that's okay.

For now,

You are here.

You are alive.

You are a beautiful soul,

Worthy of good things.

And you have practiced gentleness with yourself today.

And that,

My friend,

Will make all the difference.

Sending love and light.

Namaste.
