Welcome to a meditation on healing the physical body.
This is a meditation dedicated to my beautiful father,
Who has torn his rotator cuff,
And to my mother,
Who broke her wrist and is now putting her body back together again.
But this is for all of us who have been suffering from some sort of physical experience of pain in the body.
And what I'm going to invite us into today for this meditation is a visualization of what our body looks like when it's healed.
So if you happen to know or have a picture of the torn muscle or the broken bone or the part of the body that is out of sync,
So to speak,
I invite you to maybe even go and get that picture.
Get a picture of that part of your body that needs healing,
And we will use our visualization practice to mend that part.
Go ahead and sit up nice and tall,
If that's available for you and your body.
The idea for being vertical is it connects us with heaven and earth,
And it allows for our spine to be tall.
If sitting feels hard,
Maybe you stand,
But listen to your body today.
What's best for your body?
Take some deep breaths and exhale all the tension out.
Breathe in for the count of four,
And breathe out for the count of five.
Noticing at the crown of the head as you breathe in,
And as you breathe out,
Scan down the body,
Noticing where in the body needs your attention for our meditation today.
Noticing where there's extra sensation.
Allow yourself to move down and through the entire body,
And as you scan,
We call in our protections.
We call in our guides,
Our angels,
Great source,
God.
Please be with us today as we scan and connect with this body,
And may we remember that we are not our bodies,
But our bodies are a vessel to connect us back with love,
With the one true source.
Breathing,
Noticing what arises as you exhale any tension.
One of the biggest invitations today is to bring kindness and respect and love towards the body as it's in repair.
Our bodies are made to heal.
Our bodies are absolutely miraculous,
And today we're working to bring the mind and the body and spirit all together to support us to go beyond all conceptual possibilities and in to the limitless possibilities that we have and that exist.
Each exhale dropping you deeper into a place of relaxation for your physical body.
Letting yourself complete the body scan.
Taking a few more breaths,
And if you're moving at a slower pace and this body scan feels like exactly what you want to be doing for this meditation or you want to do the body scan again and again throughout this meditation,
Please do.
Trust yourself in this meditation.
Do what feels right for you.
My words are simply a guide to support you.
Most important aspect of meditation is breath and mindful breath,
And this is the anchor.
This is what brings us back over and over again.
In the next several moments,
I invite you to tune into that part of your body that is asking for your attention today and allow for your awareness to rest on that part of the body that's looking for healing.
And as you rest your attention there in your mind's eye,
In your imagination,
In your ability to visualize what is happening inside of the body that needs repair,
I invite you to start to see the part of the body stitching itself back together again.
And as you do this,
Feel how the cells in your body are changing.
Feel that muscle to bone getting stronger.
Feel the ligaments zipping themselves back into place,
Breathing,
Trusting this exercise,
Staying as still as you possibly can,
Using the power of this mind and this body connection to heal itself as it does.
Breathing into this practice,
This visualization,
What does this beautifully healed body look and feel like?
Breathe it into your cells.
Breathe it into your subconscious.
This knowing that your body is healing in rapid speed.
On the next exhale,
You double that healing.
I want you to breathe in,
Fill up,
Fill up,
Fill up,
Fill up,
Hold,
Hold.
And on the next exhale,
You triple your healing.
Breathing it through every cell of the body.
Notice what it's like to feel your body healing.
What is that experience inside?
And see if you can let it radiate through your bones,
Through your tissues,
Through your organs,
Through your lungs,
Through your lungs.
Keep breathing fully.
Feel the vast limitlessness of all of the space around you as you sink deeper and deeper and deeper into this visualization of the healed body.
The mind might come in and be a bit chattery,
And it is your responsibility to bring yourself back again and again to the breath and to the imagination process.
Of stitching the part of your body,
The parts that need your attention and love today.
What is it like to have your body coming back to a place of harmony?
Breathe in what harmony feels like in the physical body.
See if you can create that for yourself,
No matter what you're experiencing in the body right now.
This is what harmony feels like.
This is what health feels like.
Breathe it in.
Every single one of us doing this meditation right now is putting this type of healing into our bodies.
And this type of frequency that we are emanating goes far beyond us.
So now,
When you're ready,
I want you to see if you can send this healing frequency that you've been directing inside and send it outward.
Send it beyond your body into time and space.
For the energy of the collective,
This healing that's needed for all of us.
And see if from this place,
You can really breathe and feel and send this healing to all of us.
The bodies and all the souls who need our love and support right now.
Each exhale,
You're sending more and more healing energy from your mind and body and spirit and soul out into our beautiful planet and far beyond.
Into this one field that we're all connected to.
Visualize this harmony,
Inner and outer harmony.
Inner and outer peace.
Inner and outer wholeness.
Inner and outer love.
Exhaling deeply,
Releasing any thoughts.
Breathing in,
Filling up with energy.
And exhale,
Moving that energy through the body and out into the world and the cosmos.
I'm going to count us down for 10 more breaths.
As you breathe out,
Really letting this energy radiate through every cell of the body.
Breathe in.
Breathe out,
10.
Breathe in,
Feel your body healing.
Nine.
Expansive breath in.
Release,
Eight.
Last few on your own,
Breathe in,
Seven,
Six.
Keep going at your own pace.
Five.
By the time we get to one,
You're fully awake,
Back in the body.
Four.
Three.
Two,
Your awareness coming back.
Three.
And one.
Starting to move the physical body,
Releasing this formal practice.
Walking maybe from side to side,
Forward to back,
Opening the eyes when you're ready.
You can stay here as long as you like in this meditative place.
I invite you to drink a lot of water today and every day,
Filtered water.
Maybe give your water a swirl and thank your water every time it comes into the body,
Imagining the water as pure white light with the beautiful memory of what it's like to be on planet earth,
Of which it does.
Thank you,
Water.
And be gentle and kind and notice what happens in your physical body as you heal,
Practicing this meditation as many times as you need to,
As you continue to sink the mind,
Body,
Soul,
And spirit up.
To align with health and peace and love,
These natural states of ours,
Actually.
Thank you so much.
I pray that this really helps and heals you and all of us.
See you next time.
