This three-fold surrendering practice addresses the body, mind, and soul. It helps you surrender to the present moment, acknowledge the full spectrum of human experiences, and being OK with unpleasant, pleasant, and neutral situations. Finally, it calls you to surrender to love and compassion to help us navigate challenging situations and live a wholesome life. With love, Elaine

Welcome.

Settle in comfortably and kindly,

And begin to soften your body.

For each of us,

That looks quite differently,

So soften to your best consideration.

Maybe it means connecting with the breath,

Or maybe it's moving your body slightly.

In this meditation,

We'll learn some practical techniques to surrender and let go.

Is only by surrendering that we can come to terms and let go of what holds us back in life.

Surrendering to the present moment,

Surrendering to unpleasant,

Pleasant,

Or neutral experiences,

And finally surrendering to love and compassion.

We'll begin by surrendering to the present moment.

Connecting with the breath for a few seconds,

Breathing in and out at your own pace.

We often find ourselves stuck in the past or the future,

And we forget that we have the present moment.

This is not something to be ashamed of or judge,

Because it really happens to all of us living in this fast-paced world.

The goal here is to try and identify a way we can embody surrender,

A way we can really embody letting go.

In maybe bringing your hands to your heart center,

Closing your eyes for a couple of seconds,

Or maybe repeating the words to ourselves,

I surrender and let go.

Sit comfortably in silence with the embodiment of surrender.

We'll begin by surrendering to the present moment.

Next,

We'll reflect upon the full spectrum of human experience.

The goal here is to learn that all experiences can either be unpleasant,

Pleasant,

Or neutral,

And for us to be okay with that.

Not favoring,

Not opposing,

Just surrendering to the experience of being human.

We recall that embodiment of surrender and connect with it for a few more seconds in silence.

Next,

We'll reflect upon the full spectrum of human experience.

Finally,

We'll surrender to love and compassion,

Except in the fact that love and compassion are innate in all of us.

Surrendering to love and compassion gives us the final key to be able to let go of all the things that hold us back.

It is when we feel love and compassion towards ourselves and others that we live wholesomely in acceptance and in peace.

Remembering silently the embodiment of surrender for a few more seconds,

Remembering to bring love and compassion.

Next,

We'll reflect upon the full spectrum of human experience.

Next,

We'll reflect upon the full spectrum of human experience.

Closing this meditation by repeating these phrases to ourselves.

I surrender to love and compassion.

I let go in love and compassion.

And I live in love and compassion.

Next,

We'll reflect upon the full spectrum of human experience.
