Hi my friend begin to slowly arrive in this moment closing your eyes down gently if that feels safe inhale slowly through your nose exhale out your mouth allow yourself to completely land right here feel your entire face soften release the shoulders down feel the support beneath you steady breath in steady exhale really become aware of your inner world without an ounce of judgment notice the you that is here as you see yourself and increase your awareness choose to love on what you find follow your breath in without opening your eyes begin to visualize the room that you are in in your mind's eye see what is in front of you visualize what's to the right of you visualize what's to the left of you visualize what is behind you and beneath you so allow your mind to really see all the details the objects the textures allow your mind to wander maybe into your kitchen or outside simply becoming a loving observer noticing as you stay inward you can see the details of your outer world and this my friend is a healthy distraction this visualization slows down the thinking mind so get as detailed as possible highlight the humanness of your home let it be imperfect and messy and beautiful keep visualizing all the things the colors the textures maybe even the smells and the sounds breathe in let this be a reminder that you are here and things don't have to look a certain way for you to feel peace within you my friend you are here no matter the unknown you are safe keep visualizing for just another minute exhale inhale really drop into your heart pulling all your energy back inward to you notice now your internal landscape your inner home really feel how you can shift from the outer world to your inner world at a moment's notice what a powerful skill to have notice the shift the shift in your mind and your body and your heart and if the shift is not obvious know that you showing up for you is the shift be gentle to you today be kind to your mind really arrive now into this moment breathing in as you wiggle your fingers your toes exhale on your next inhale opening your eyes exhale release come back to this practice whenever you need it be good to yourself from my heart to yours
