Begin to arrive in this moment,
Softening into your body,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Feel the weight of your lower body pressing into the cushion,
The ground beneath you.
Feel your upper body,
Strong yet soft,
The heart opening.
Feel the arms and the weight of your hands on your lap.
Inhale slowly,
Exhale even slower.
Begin to really see your inner world.
Breathe your way to the seat of the observer,
Sitting with yourself here and observing.
Feel into this internal awareness,
Aware of what is present now,
And aware of how you've been responding and reacting.
Non-reactivity is connected to inner resilience,
Strength of mind.
As you slow down your mind,
You can begin to expand your window of tolerance,
Your ability to stay in this neutral feeling,
This neutral space where you are non-reactive and instead intentionally responsive.
This is how you create more inner resilience,
Feeling this steady,
Neutral energy rise within you.
My friend,
In this moment,
You also need to acknowledge your strength.
See how strong you truly are.
Your strength will grow the more you acknowledge it.
Can you remember all the moments that have made you strong?
All the moments that have increased your heart's resiliency?
It is true that the only way to build a strong muscle is by first breaking it down.
Breathe in.
Zaina Keithley writes,
There are three words you need to activate your courage and unlock your inner power.
I'll be okay.
Because it's the truth.
You're going to be okay no matter where this path leads you.
Your ability to persist isn't dependent on the things that happen outside of you.
Your ability to persist is based on the self-trust you've cultivated from within.
So today,
Right now,
Affirm that you're going to be okay no matter what your future holds.
You're smart,
You're resilient,
And you've proven time and time again just how deep your inner strength flows.
Once you start telling yourself that you're going to be okay,
No matter the outcome,
That's when life starts to open up for you.
That's when the world begins to reveal its magic.
That's when the path ahead will unravel in ways you never even dreamed.
You just have to know that you got this.
Whatever happens,
However it unfolds,
Trust your grip.
Trust your strength of mind.
Trust your resilient heart.
Trust yourself.
Breathe in these words.
Allow something to really land on your heart.
Something from this meditation,
Maybe from those words by Zaina Keithley,
Or maybe something you need to hear right now to remind you of your inner resiliency,
Your strength.
Notice how you feel now.
Notice your awareness now.
Breathe in,
Reminding yourself I'll be okay,
And you are stronger than you realize.
Notice the peace in your mind and your heart.
Become aware of the you that's here now,
And carry this practice with you.
On your next inhale,
Find movement in your body,
Exhale,
Blinking your eyes open if they were closed.
Take this practice with you.
You are strong.
You are resilient.
You got this.
From my heart to yours.
