Hi my friend,
This is for you if you feel like your energy is not being managed well,
If you feel like you are spread thin or there's just a lot going on and you feel overwhelmed.
In times where things are really chaotic and busy,
We can put our self-care on the back burner and I'm really excited about this meditation because I share a really powerful visualization to help you remember that how you show up for yourself is how you will show up for the world and so it starts with you and you are worthy of taking the time to take really good care of you so that you can move forward with more ease,
Presence,
Awareness,
And energy.
Take your sweet time getting comfortable,
Maybe this time you get extra comfortable,
What would that look like?
Maybe grabbing a pillow or a blanket,
Just rediscover your breath,
Breathe in,
Breathe it out,
Start to let go with every breath sinking into this moment,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Every inhale opens your heart,
Every exhale allows you to drop into your heart,
Into this very moment,
Slow breath in,
Slower exhale,
Feeling your entire face soften,
Letting go of any tension that you're holding,
Any stress that you're carrying in your neck and your shoulders,
Let it go,
Breathing in and out through your nose,
Steady breath,
Steady mind,
Steady heart.
My friend,
When was the last time you took a long loving look at your energy level?
My friend,
Have you been taking really good care of yourself or do you feel maybe you could use a little bit more love from you?
I know the feeling of being overwhelmed,
Of not knowing where to start,
The to-do list is swirling in the mind and you may feel paralyzed,
Not knowing what to do first,
And as the anxiety increases,
We decrease our time to just be,
Because somewhere along the way we learned that in order to be worthy,
In order to be productive,
We must go,
Go.
My friend,
The best thing you can do is let yourself be and pause and settle into the non-doing,
Breathe it in,
Breathe it out.
No one knows what you need except for you,
No one knows how to support you and uplift you except for you,
You know you best.
You know you best.
What do you need in this moment?
Breathe it in,
Exhale,
Trusting any messages that you're receiving,
Knowing that they're coming from the wisdom of your heart.
If it feels okay,
Begin to visualize a beautiful,
Vast field.
You decide what this field looks like,
The colors,
The textures,
The temperature.
Now imagine you are witnessing two versions of yourself standing in the field.
On your left is a version of you that is not protecting their peace,
A version of you that's putting their their mental and physical well-being on the back burner,
A you that is forgetting to have boundaries and is neglecting their self-care routine.
Imagine looking at this version of you in the eyes.
What do you see?
Slowly shift to the version of you that's on the right,
A version of you that knows their limits,
That says no often to keep their peace,
Their routine of self-care is priority,
They manage their energy.
Imagine looking into their eyes.
What do you see?
And now slowly visualize both of these versions of you.
For an analogy's sake,
They both have bow and arrows.
Imagine both of them lifting the bow and arrow and the degree at which they're able to pull the arrow back is a direct reflection of how how well they are taking care,
How well they are protecting their peace and energy.
Visualizing both versions of you pulling the arrow back.
And what do you see?
They both release the arrow at the same time.
The version of you on the right,
The one that's been taking good care,
Every little moment to prioritize their peace has equated to the ability to propel forward.
The ability to launch forward with so much clarity,
Energy,
Focus.
The version of you on the left,
Their arrow plops down right in front of them.
Breathe in.
Breathe it out.
You know you best.
What do you need in order to feel the most like you?
In order to move forward with steady energy,
Overflowing the ability to give and do your best.
It all starts with how you fill up your soul.
How you take care of you.
And you,
My friend,
Are so worthy.
May you get in the habit of asking yourself,
What do I need in this moment?
May you take really good care of your mind,
Your heart,
Your body,
Your soul.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
My friend,
What are you currently prioritizing over resting and taking good care?
May you remember as the world continues to spin,
You can rest.
You can take the time.
Breathe in slowly.
Breathe out.
You are worthy of the time it takes to feel more like you.
And when you do so,
You will notice how it allows you to move forward in a whole new way.
Notice the subtle shift within you.
And whisper anything that your heart needs to hear in this moment.
