Hi my friend,

Allow yourself to completely stop what you're doing,

What you've been focusing on and just land here,

Closing your eyes gently if that feels right,

Completely let go of the world outside you,

Soften in,

Use your breath to just be here,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Just be here,

Breath in,

Notice how it feels to be still,

There's nothing you need to do,

No action you need to take,

Nothing to figure out,

Just melt here into this moment,

Feel the softening of your eyes,

Resting that space between your eyebrows where we tend to focus,

Tense up,

Soften your jaw,

Let your entire face be,

There's no expression you need to hold,

Feel your arms grow heavy,

There's nothing you need to carry here,

Feel the stillness in your hands,

The non-doing,

Allow your lower body to sink deeper into the chair,

The ground,

The cushion beneath you,

Feel the stillness in your legs,

Just be here where your feet are,

Let this nothingness be everything you need,

Let it be enough.

Corey Muscar writes,

Many of us think we need to be stressed to get things done,

Ask yourself,

Is it possible to do everything I need to do today with relaxed awareness?

My friend,

You can find ease within the effort,

A balance of the doing and the non-doing,

Let yourself be from time to time and notice how that shifts your entire day,

Stay with the stillness,

Keep letting yourself be,

Keep letting yourself unravel,

Rest your mind in this moment just for a little longer,

Slow your exhale,

May you prioritize allowing yourself to be,

May you see how productive doing nothing is,

Notice how your nervous system feels now,

Notice how maybe some tension has left your body,

One of the most healing things we can do for ourselves is just be,

And my friend,

You are worthy of this pause,

This non-doing,

Always,

You do not need to earn it,

You do not need to honor yourself in the fact that you chose to breathe here,

You chose to be here,

And may you carry this energy with you,

Go slowly now as you reawaken your body,

Gently flickering the eyes open if they were closed,

And welcome yourself back into your space slowly,

Kindly,

Gently,

One more collective breath in and out,

Keep allowing yourself to be from my heart to yours.
