Welcome to this moment.
This meditation is for you if you notice negative thoughts taking over your mind and maybe whispering fear,
Self-doubt,
Or anxiety into your heart.
My friend,
We do not need to believe everything we think.
You can be free of your thoughts,
Especially the ones that do not serve you.
Turn inward slowly.
Breathe in.
On your exhale allow every muscle in your body to relax.
Feel the shoulders soften,
Releasing all the muscles in your body,
Allowing yourself to feel ease and soften into the stillness.
Follow your breath in.
Follow your breath out.
And us humans think around 50 to 80,
000 thoughts a day.
Most of them are repeated.
Most of them we've thought before.
Most of them do not serve us.
Really feel your awareness shift from the thinking mind into the observing mind.
This is where you slowly take the seat of the observer,
Witnessing your mind.
Every thought,
Every feeling is simply passing through.
And you are the gatekeeper.
You are the one that is aware.
How often do you challenge your thoughts?
How often do you pause the thinking mind and step out of autopilot?
And my friend,
The mind is not bad.
The mind is simply home to your thoughts.
And all of these thoughts are just passing through.
You can befriend your mind and encourage your mind to discern and allow certain thoughts to rest and other thoughts to carry on.
Slow breath in.
Slow breath out.
As you sit here just recognizing the thoughts or maybe the story you are telling yourself,
Now disrupt the thought pattern with a question.
What evidence supports this thought?
What new thought will I choose to serve the mind and the heart?
Really feel this new awareness within you.
You have the power to discern,
To allow thoughts to stick or to gently move thoughts out of your mind.
And my friend,
It's okay to think.
It's okay to feel.
And remember,
It's not all for you.
You don't have to carry all the thoughts,
All the feelings.
You can let go here.
Every cell in your body hears your thoughts.
Every cell in your body is impacted by your thoughts.
Can you choose to shift the narrative right now?
Can you choose to shift the narrative right now?
Can you choose to shift the narrative right now?
Start to reframe the mind right here.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Just allow your mind to work its magic.
Reframing all the thoughts that do not serve you.
Notice how it feels to overcome your negative thoughts,
To challenge them.
My friend,
Every day,
May you choose to meet your heart and whisper something that you need to hear.
Do not believe everything you think.
Do not believe everything you think.
Remember that you can always shift into the observing mind and create a new thought pattern,
A new narrative.
Be kind to your mind.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Really feel the shift.
Maybe place your hands over your heart if that feels safe.
And remember that you can be more heart-minded.
When you're more heart-minded,
You are able to really see,
To pay attention,
To quickly allow thoughts to fade away that do not serve.
And come back to your heart and your deep knowing.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Take your sweet time.
Wiggling your fingers,
Your toes,
Maybe rolling your shoulders.
Carry this with you.
