Begin to gently shift your awareness inward,
Starting to slow down enough so that you can see yourself,
Slowing down enough so that you can be with yourself,
Gently noticing your breath here.
Maybe for the first time in a while,
Just noticing the pace of your breath,
Fullness of your breath.
Really witness yourself here,
This version of you that is here.
What is present inside of you?
What is happening around you?
And how is that impacting your world within?
I know it might feel like in this moment,
When times are stressful and really,
Really hard,
That the best thing you can do is look outward and keep going and doing.
But my friend,
Quite the opposite is true.
The best thing you can do for you is slow down here and just breathe yourself full again.
Give yourself permission to fully rest in this moment.
Anchor into your breath,
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Right here,
It's just you and your breath.
That's all that matters.
That's all you need to shift your attention toward.
You and your breath.
What if I told you that there's purpose in the pain?
Take a slow breath in,
Slow exhale.
Everything that you go through,
You grow through.
Can you take a long loving look at yourself right here?
And even though the stress,
The hardship,
The pain might feel incredibly large,
Notice the resiliency that is growing.
You are still standing.
You are still here.
Breathe in,
Exhale.
Meditate here on a moment in your life where you felt this extreme stress and you still made it through.
A time where you doubted yourself and your resiliency,
Yet you still made it through.
What comes to mind,
What comes to heart.
And now come back to this moment.
What is real and true in this moment,
Despite everything that's going on?
Can you feel the peace and the calmness of this moment?
Can you feel into the beauty of just being here fully?
The only way to build muscles is by breaking them down first.
You might feel as if you are breaking down,
But this is the only way.
You will rise.
You will rise and feel a newfound resiliency,
Strength,
Because of what you endured.
Even among this hardship,
What is there still room for?
May it be joy,
Trust,
Peace,
Gratitude.
It will make sense one day.
The only way out is through your struggles are what develop your strength.
So in this moment,
Can you say thank you?
Your struggles develop your strength.
If your heart could speak to you,
What would it say?
What would it remind you?
And take a slow breath in,
Exhale.
Notice the you that's come forward here.
The you that is here to support you and hold you through it all.
The you that knows that you are never alone in any struggle and that hard times come and hard times go.
And your mind and your heart and your body can endure all things.
May you remember your resiliency,
Your strength and your endurance.
From my heart to yours.
