When we are in alignment with what is real and true in our thoughts, words, and actions; we create space for more ease in our lives. Accepting and living from truth is not often the easiest choice – we might deny what is true out of the hope of being accepted or protecting someone’s feelings. The time and energy used in denying the truth can leave us feeling exhausted and depleted. Hello,

And welcome to this guided meditation on accepting and expressing truth.

When we are in alignment with what is real and true in our thoughts,

Words,

And actions,

We create space for more ease in our lives.

Accepting and living from truth is often not the easiest choice.

We might deny what is true out of the hope of being accepted or protecting someone's feelings.

The time and energy used in denying the truth can leave us feeling exhausted and depleted.

In our practice today,

We will take time to notice what is true about our experience and how accepting and expressing truth creates space for more ease.

Now,

Gently closing your eyes,

Finding a soft downward gaze,

I invite you to allow your body and mind to settle.

You might notice the sensations where your body is in contact with the ground beneath you.

Maybe you notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest or your belly with each inhale and each exhale.

Simply allow your whole self to arrive here in this moment.

And now you might bring your attention to your body.

You might notice the truth of your body right now.

Where is there heaviness,

Lightness,

Where is there tension or ease?

Not trying to change your experience,

Simply noticing what is here now.

And now you might shift your attention to your breath.

Gently notice your inhale and your exhale.

Is your breath deep or shallow,

Warm or cool?

Simply notice and allow it to be as it is.

Can you accept your breath as it is in this moment?

Now I invite you to bring your attention to your thoughts.

Is your mind busy with many thoughts?

Maybe your mind is relaxed and calm.

Simply notice your experience of your thoughts,

Your truth,

Offering a gentle presence for whatever is here.

And now you might notice your emotions.

Maybe you're feeling joy,

Contentment,

Curiosity.

Maybe worry,

Stress or heaviness.

Simply notice with a gentle,

Kind awareness.

It's not about judging what you find.

It's about allowing yourself to be with what is true in this moment.

Notice if you can create space for your inner truth without resistance,

Without wishing it were somehow different.

And as you observe your inner truth,

I invite you to offer yourself compassion and kindness for whatever may be present in your experience.

You might gently say to yourself,

I'm here.

Maybe even place a hand on your chest,

Just above your heart.

You can offer a kind and compassionate presence for yourself and your experience.

I invite you to notice what's happening in your experience now.

What emerges when you compassionately open to the truth of your experience?

And I invite you as you move into the rest of your day or your evening to continue to open to your truth and simply notice what emerges.

Thank you for practicing with me.

I hope to see you again soon.
