Welcome back everyone.
Today's breath control and meditation will be basically facing our fears.
There comes a time in our life where we must take control of our mind,
Of our heart,
Of our passions and begin to discard whatever is present there that is the resistance of us receiving our soul-based desire in this moment,
In this month,
In this year,
This life.
I know that psychologically when I'm running away from my fear or I'm pushing that psychological fear back down into my body,
I can do that.
But eventually that fear,
That thought form,
That imprint will come back to haunt me and it'll take more energy or more heartbeats to neutralize the visceral effect of that fear that I'm picking up in my mind-body connection.
In other words,
There's no eyes in the back of our head and the fear runs faster than we do psychologically.
We can't outrun our fears.
So what I'd like to do today is use breath control and visualization in the mind where we pick a fear,
Something that has been going through our thought forms or animating our visuals in our mind recently.
Pick something,
You know,
On a scale of 1 to 10,
Start with something like a 5 that maybe takes you out of your heart for 3 or 4 or 5 breaths.
Don't go all the way into the major fears just yet.
Start to build feedback loops that will allow you to gently go deeper into some of the larger imprints and you can destroy them later.
Today's practice simply is using the mind and turning back psychologically,
Using our visual eyes inside the inside eye and turn back towards the fear and look that fear right in its eye and watch and see if it shifts in its narrative to you or your perception of what that fear was causing.
Notice if we are overreacting to it,
If it's something that we can let go,
It's something we don't have to place as much attention on anymore.
The technique will be the 4-part breath where we will be inhaling,
Holding the breath in and you will turn your mind back towards the fear and just notice if that fear is a lot smaller than what you thought it was when you were running away from it.
Exhale,
Hold the breath out several seconds and turn back psychologically to that fear and just look it in the eye and say,
Fear,
If you are not here to help,
You have got to get out,
You don't belong in me.
So let your eyes close and begin to meditate on your breath.
Relax the features of your face and in your own way,
Begin to tap into an insecurity or something that produces anxiety or just a wobbliness to our sense of self where we lose our moorings.
And after the next inhale,
Hold the breath in,
The mind will sit,
Turn your awareness back towards the intruder,
Exhale,
Watch that intruder shrink in size or run away from you and then hold the breath out a second or two.
Inhaling,
Set the mental framework,
Hold the breath in and face that fear,
Allow the light of yourself to shrink the size of the shadow,
Quality of the fear.
Exhale,
Watch the fear run away.
Notice the fear is shamed,
The fear feels guilty.
Notice the table switch,
Inhale,
Hold,
Face the fear,
Shrink it in size.
Exhale,
Watch it move away from your mind and then hold the breath out and seal the deal.
One more round.
Wonderful.
So,
The growth process of life,
Personal growth,
Expansion of consciousness,
You don't want to take your fears with you.
Work on this technique,
Face your fears,
Transcend them,
Transform them and put yourself in a position where there is constant joy in your life.
Practice this and let me know how it goes for you and as always,
Go be great.
