Hello!
My name is Eden,
And I am a therapist,
Reiki teacher,
And meditation guide.
Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life,
Welcome!
These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts,
And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape.
Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client,
So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before,
During,
After,
Beyond the meditation,
Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations,
Just letting yourself take note.
Allow it to be personal and universal.
Let's begin!
Today there is a very simple practice.
So go ahead and just find a comfortable seated position,
And take a few slow deep breaths into the body,
Releasing the day,
The past,
The future,
And returning to the present moment.
This gift.
And giving yourself a few more breaths to really be here.
Even more.
And just noticing your awareness in your mind,
This witness state,
This consciousness in your mind,
This human gift,
This metacognition that we have to observe our thoughts.
And just pinpointing where in your head this awareness is living right now.
Often for me,
It's between my eyebrows and my third eye,
And maybe a few inches behind my forehead.
No wrong answers.
And now I want you to imagine this awareness moving down through the head,
The neck,
The throat,
And into the heart,
Resting in the chest,
The heart space.
Breathing deeply into your awareness now in the heart.
Having rolled your awareness from the mind into the body.
Moving from this place,
Breathing from this place.
Letting the mind speak less,
Letting your intuition speak more through presence.
And we'll just take a minute in our silence here for you to see if there are any messages your body,
Your energy has for you as you move your awareness into this heart space and out of the mind.
And if you notice the awareness moving back up into the head,
Just practicing rolling it back down into the heart.
Moving from this place.
And you can ask yourself,
What's here?
Or what do I need today?
Letting something come in.
Trusting that whatever came up is exactly what needed to,
Even if there was nothing.
There's rest there.
There's presence there still.
And what a gift.
Knowing that moving your mind down into your heart space is always accessible to you.
Especially when all of that cheetah chatter comes in or the mind starts to spiral or scatter.
Practice moving the mind down into the heart.
And leading,
Breathing,
Living from there.
Letting the heart lead.
