My name is Eden and I am a therapist,
Reiki teacher,
And meditation guide.
Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life,
Welcome.
These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts,
And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape.
Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client,
So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before,
During,
After,
Beyond the meditation,
Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations,
Just letting yourself take note.
Allow it to be personal and universal.
Let's begin.
And today we are going to be doing something.
And today is for people who have their Reiki level 2 attunement.
And if that is you,
Just go ahead and start to let yourself settle into this moment,
This space,
This body,
This breath,
Just a little bit more.
Softening the eyes,
The jaw,
The shoulders,
The palms,
The belly,
The toes,
And being just a little bit more here.
What does your mind need in order to be right here even more?
What does your body need in order to be here a little bit more?
And what does your heart need in order to be here just a little bit more?
Gifting that to yourself here now.
And we just open up this space by ushering in the three Reiki level 2 symbols.
Drawing them out in front of you,
Imagining them in your mind's eye,
Accessing the felt sense that each of them bring into your body.
However you call on them is perfect.
Just doing so now.
Repeating each mantra three times.
Opening up to this Reiki energy,
This universal life force energy.
Tapping into what is beyond you.
And now we start to usher in a situation.
And today let's just focus on a situation from your past that in one way or another you find yourself still clinging to,
Ruminating on.
Maybe you are projecting judgment or shame or sadness or fear,
Insecurity.
Finding some little past situation where there's still an emotional tension there.
And just bringing that instance into the presence.
Holding the situation in your mind's eye in a scene.
Maybe that scene also elicits an emotion,
Letting that be here too.
And sometimes I like to picture myself holding that scene or that moment,
That instance,
In my palms.
Maybe seeing it in,
Say,
A crystal ball or a little snow globe.
Something encompassing it.
Making it a little more clear with this boundary around it.
Making this situation feel a little bit more like a thing that has a beginning and an end.
And now we begin to send Reiki to that situation.
Of course,
How you do that is very personal to you and just start with what it would feel like to send love and care to that snapshot.
Opening the heart to it,
Knowing that everyone was doing the best they could with what they were given.
It's okay to have learned a lesson.
Maybe you imagine this beautiful energy moving through you from the space above your crown and down into the visualization in your mind,
In your hands.
Almost like this beam of light that moves through you to that thing,
That situation-turned-thing.
And the light dissolves over it,
Encompasses it,
Permeates through it,
Illuminating it in this beautiful light.
Ridding the situation of all shadow.
Can you continue to relax the body,
To take deep,
Slow breaths,
Longer exhales,
Showing your physiology that you are safe here.
As you touch this old wound,
You are safe.
Feeling the safety as you return to this old wound is how the wound can start to heal.
Letting light shine on it.
Offering it care.
And maybe you ask the situation in your mind's eye,
What do you need right now from me?
And just let an answer come in to your mind.
Letting whatever just came up to be enough,
To be perfect.
And offering whatever came up to you,
To yourself right now.
Maybe that's respect,
Or love,
Or autonomy,
Or understanding,
Or perspective,
Or something else.
Accessing that in your body right now as if it were already there.
As if it was always here.
In this light,
In this energy,
In this field where we hold the situation in our mind's eye,
In our palms.
Being right here.
Softening,
Opening,
Relaxing the body,
Releasing the mind.
Offering fresh energy to this past situation.
Allowing yourself to see through a new lens,
From a fresh perspective.
Even if that doesn't have language around it yet.
Just letting yourself feel something different in relation to that situation now.
Maybe,
Just maybe,
The corners of your mouth gently curl up.
Ushering in a smile,
Maybe a little giggle,
Remembering that we are just humans.
This is our first time at this round,
At this go of life.
And so we deserve grace,
Because we've never been here before.
Today is new,
Each day is new,
Each interaction new.
And can you let that already release a little bit of tension in relation to this old situation.
Deep breath in,
Long,
Slow,
Nourishing breath out.
Taking a moment to look at the body inwardly again.
Noticing any pockets of tension that have crept back in and letting them go.
And we release this situation as you've held it in your hands and your mind's eye.
