Hello beautiful kids!
I'm back and I'm so happy to be here with all of you.
I don't think I need to introduce myself cause you don't know me.
But just in case,
My name is Charlie and today I'm gonna introduce you to my lovely cat.
As my dad anticipated,
His name is Grey.
Oh Greedo,
Or Lord Grey,
Or Bilupo.
He has many names but no matter what,
He is and he always be my dear baby.
Can you believe that I adopted Grey back in 2016?
When I saw him the first time,
He was only two months old.
He was so tiny and cute.
A fairy left a box with six cats outside the bed.
Yes,
Grey has four brothers and one sisters.
They all have great dads and moms and they are all happy in their own families.
But let's go back to my baby Grey.
As I said,
He's gonna be six at the end of October.
My dad and Grey were born in the same month.
That's a special month indeed.
We always have some special celebrations for both of them.
We eat good food,
We sing,
Dance,
Play many different games.
I have a lot to tell you about Grey and I could just talk for hours and hours.
But today I wanna just talk about one thing that happened one day when Grey and I were alone at home.
And then my dad came home with a big box and I was already excited because I thought it was a special gift for me.
But to my surprise,
It was depressing for Grey.
I felt even happier because my dad had a very smart and thoughtful idea for my little baby.
Do you know what he bought?
He got him an amazing backpack.
Are you wondering what a cat would do with it?
Right?
Well,
The backpack was definitely way too big for him.
However,
He was still very useful because he started wearing it.
Grey could have got inside it and joined it in some amazing adventures here in Los Angeles.
Let me tell you more about the backpack.
There was a special blanket coming with it.
Do you know what the print was?
It was a picture of Grey.
That's how much my dad loves Grey.
The backpack is very comfortable for Grey and he's almost been on his couch.
And he has a round window like the one you find in some books.
Through that Grey he can observe the world.
He's so cozy inside.
He can peek outside when he wants or take a nap when he's tired.
Who needs one?
That day when my dad came home with the backpack,
He had already something else in mind.
Grey and I sat to listen to him.
We were excited but a little worried.
You know,
To be honest,
Grey and I do not always behave.
We do some bad things.
Nothing serious.
Still not okay.
My dad is always very patient and does his best to understand us and also explains to us why certain things are not okay to be done.
Well,
That day was so good that I was not upset at all.
Instead,
He had an announcement for us.
He was taking the both of us on a hike and that's the reason why he bought the backpack for Grey.
The next day,
We would have gone on a big adventure and we would have shared another great day all together.
This time Grey would have joined us.
I can't express how happy I was.
I was literally jumping around the apartment.
It was like I had springs under my feet.
I was bouncing around like Grey was cheating me and my dad was telling me to calm down.
When I finally started to jump around,
We all laughed so,
So,
So,
So,
So much.
We were rolling on the ground so much that at one point we all fell asleep for a little while.
And that's what I'm about to do.
So I think I have to continue my story one of these days.
My dad wrote a song for Grey and he wants to play it for you.
It's in Italian but it's cool.
I'm sure you'll love it.
However,
My dad said that he's gonna play only if we all promise we're all gonna sleep after that.
