In this moment on Heal Meditations Brave souls,

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Close your eyes.

Imagine sitting up nice and tall.

If you're able,

Place your palms upwards facing the sky or the ceiling to receive the energy of the universe and just focus on your breathing.

We're going to start with a mantra meditation.

My task is to,

If you're able,

Get lost in the cadence of the words that I speak.

Live a life of love.

Love the life you live.

To live a life of love.

To live a life of love.

Love the life.

To live a life of love.

Love.

To live a life of love.

Love the life you live.

To live a life of love.

Love the life you live.

To live a life of love.

Love the life you live.

To live a life of love.

Love the life you live.

To live a life of love.

Love the life you live.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.

If you're able,

Lower your chin to your chest and rock your head side to side.

When you're ready and able,

Raise your head with your forehead facing the sky.

Open your mouth a little to unclench your jaw,

Releasing any tension.

See if you can lower your shoulders down from your ears as if they're bricks on the top of your shoulders.

You are calm,

Relaxed.

Progress into a progressive muscle relaxation.

To release the tension we may be holding in our physical bodies.

All you have to do is follow my cues.

You are exactly where you're meant to be.

Stress comes.

And so you clench your fists,

Physically clench your fists as tight as you can and hold all of the tension you can create Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And let it go.

Open your palms.

Wiggle your fingers.

And feel the difference from being tense and now relaxed.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

And notice how calm you feel.

How relaxed you are.

There's nowhere else you'd rather be.

And then storms come.

Hassles present themselves.

And you feel tension.

So you clench your fists and you also shrug your shoulders,

Creating as much tension as you can from your fingertips to your shoulders and hold that tension for Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And you let it go.

Lower your shoulders away from your ears.

Feel the sensation of relaxation moving from your arms to your fingertips.

Open up your palms.

Wiggle your fingers.

And reflect on the difference from feeling tense to being relaxed.

You take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

You are relaxed.

It's just you and your breath.

Life does what life always does.

Unexpected circumstances.

And you feel tension begin to rise.

And so you clench your fists.

You shrug your shoulders.

You grit your teeth.

And you create as much tension as you possibly can in your upper body.

And you hold it for Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And you let it go.

You lower your jaw.

Open your mouth a little.

Lower the distance from your shoulders to your ears.

Open your palms.

Wiggle your fingers.

And feel completely relaxed again.

You take a deep breath in through your nose and you exhale through your mouth.

You smile.

Your life is so good.

You're happy.

And tension begins to rise.

Disappointment.

Shame.

Whatever it might be.

And so you clench your fists.

You shrug your shoulders.

You grit your teeth.

You also begin to create tension in your lower body as well.

The tops of your thighs.

Your bottom.

And you create as much tension as you can.

You curl your toes so that your entire body is tense.

And you hold it for Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

And you let it go.

You let all of the tension leave your body.

You open your mouth a little to release the tension in your jaw.

You lower your chin to your chest.

And roll your neck from side to side.

You lower your shoulders from your ears.

You wiggle your fingers and your toes.

And you bask in the feeling of being relaxed.

You've let all of the tension go.

You are more than the tension.

You are calm.

You are peace.

Of all the heart that lives in our body.

Then we can sit in the bliss of our own soul and our physical body.

And just notice our breath.

We must love.
