There are struggles in this life that we may question why we were chosen to carry the burden. I wrote Holding the Heavy Assignment You've Been Given when I needed to believe there was a purpose for my experience and that angel guides and ancestors were making a way for me. I hope this provides you hope in the times when you're holding your own heavy assignment.

In this moment on Heal Meditations Holding the heavy assignment you've been given.

Brave soul,

When your assignment is heavy,

The burden crushing your bones,

Your arms outstretched in surrender,

Pause.

Have the courage to be quiet.

Nestle your soul into the fear,

The despair,

Or the indecision.

Acknowledge it.

Feel it hardening the walls of your heart.

Clouding your brilliant mind with doubt.

Stealing not only joy,

But moments from your earthly life.

The path before us sometimes may feel unbearable,

Even impossible.

The doors of our destiny are on the other side of our struggle.

All we need is what we have.

Our breath,

Our heartbeat,

The resilience passed to us from our ancestors,

The universe and the collective energy of souls beaming love and appreciation for all we are and all we endure.

The answers,

The next steps,

The solutions may not become clear in this moment.

Trust.

Let go.

You are held and lifted by forces stronger than your weary bones and heart.

The universe,

Your creator,

Knows what happens next.

You are held with intention and care.

Once and if we believe this in every thread that creates the fabric of our being and our presence expands.

Revelations shift.

Energy permeates our aura.

Our gift and purpose supersedes talent.

It is our calling.

The impenetrable trauma each day that the devil attempts to destroy our belief and our worthiness,

The hurts that accumulate like unexpected storms,

Are not intended to quiet,

But build us.

Increase the marrow in our bones.

Soften our hardened hearts.

Enhance our capacity to love.

To hold space for nuance.

To shine in confidence as no heat can dissipate our spirit because of the stress,

Physical exertion,

Or emotional exhaustion.

We have endured and will continue.

Our harvest and our rest awaits.

There's no need to get too loud.

Pause,

Regroup,

And trust the divine purpose that lies ahead.

The assignment you've been granted may not be your choosing,

But the greater generational destiny awaits.

Hold the heavy with hope even as your bones are brittle and your spirit extended.
