In the busyness of life, how do we find time and space to have even five minutes of quiet so that we can nourish ourselves? This guided practice is a chance nourish yourself by taking a step back from the chaos, the noise, and the have-to's of life so that you can find your self once more, ask how you're doing, find out what you need, and listen to how your Inner Wise One wants to speak to you.

Begin by closing your eyes.

Allow the weight of your body to settle into the earth below you.

Let your body feel heavy.

Whether you are seated or laying down,

Allow gravity to take over.

Exhale your breath fully through your nose and exhale your breath out of your mouth with a sigh.

Again through your nose,

Take the breath in and out of your mouth release.

One more time and as you exhale this time,

Allow the body to follow the breath in releasing full surrender.

These few moments here are just for you.

Moments for you to check in with you.

As your next exhale turns into an inhale,

We will breathe in together for the count of four.

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale for three,

Two,

One.

Inhale one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale for three,

Two,

One.

Take the breath in one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale for three,

Two,

One.

Keep going like this,

Let the breath come into your body for four.

Out of the body for four.

Inhale for four.

Exhale for five.

As we breathe in this fashion,

We slow the breath down which begins to slow the heart rate down which settles the energy of the body which then translates to settled energy within the mind field.

When the space of the mind is settled and calm,

It and we can move towards stillness,

Stillness and quiet.

And it's in this silence that we can begin to hear the sound of our inner voice.

What does your inner voice sound like today?

What does it sound like today?

What does it sound like today?

What does it sound like today?
