Hello,

This is Aubrey with AubreyCara.

Co and we are going to have a guided visual meditation around your barriers and your boundaries and also what support system is available to you.

So if possible,

Please get still,

Find yourself either in a seated position,

Laying down,

Or if you are walking and just listening to my voice,

Make sure that you can take a couple minutes of pause.

And if you are able to,

Please grab yourself a piece of paper,

A pen,

Put that phone on silent,

And place it next to you,

Maybe with the notes option open if you do not have pen and paper,

Because what you will glean from this can either be stored away internally,

Or you can reflect on it later as part of your journaling,

If you journal,

Or just to take note on where there is some opportunity to grow.

And with that,

Let's take a couple deep breaths together.

Find yourself standing in sunlight,

Feeling what that feeling of sunshine feels like on your body.

If you can envision the sun glistening in your mind's eye,

Hold that still.

Feel the warmth spread from your toes to your knees,

To your hips,

To your stomach,

To your chest,

And on up to the crown of your head.

Hold that awareness deeply in your heart.

Now visualize yourself in a grassy field.

Look around you.

Do you notice certain colors?

Are there butterflies?

Are there birds?

Do you feel the breeze?

Are there any scents and smells and flowers?

Any images that you can glean?

Look out towards the horizon.

What is on the horizon?

Are you aware of the ocean,

The mountains,

Never-ending fields of flowers or grass?

Hold those details closely in your mind's eye.

Sit,

Stand,

Walk towards that field.

Now notice that there's a fence in front of you.

Go up to it.

What is that fence made out of?

What color is it?

How high is it?

What are the materials that were used for it?

Are there brakes in the fencing?

Is it solid?

Is it impenetrable?

Can you see an exit and an entrance?

Look around you as you stand in that field in front of that fence.

You may notice a ladder laying somewhere around.

Where is that ladder?

What is the ladder made out of?

What direction do you have to go?

To the right?

To the left?

To the front?

To the back?

Where do you pick up that ladder from?

Is it under a tree?

Is it laying right next to you?

Take note.

Is that ladder of certain color?

Is it old?

Is it new?

How tall is it?

Is there anything attached to it?

Grab your ladder.

Hold it.

Take it with you towards the fence.

Climb the ladder step by step.

What can you see from on top of the ladder?

What do you see out on the horizon?

Are your hands gripping the ladder tightly?

Do you feel free?

Does the ladder feel wobbly underneath your feet?

Do you feel supported?

Pay attention to the sensations that arise as you stand on your ladder looking out on the horizon.

Now jump.

Jump onto the other side of the fence and after you land,

Look around.

Take time.

What is it like on the other side of the fence?

Run around and play if you want to.

Have fun.

Be joyful.

Do cartwheels and back handsprings.

Dance.

Strip down and be naked.

Lay in the grass or in the flowers or on the sand and relish in the scent of the air and the feeling of the breeze and the feeling of the sun as it glistens around you.

Or maybe you're experiencing an afternoon thunderstorm and the rain is washing you clear.

Enjoy yourself.

Take a deep breath and release.

Feel the chair under you supporting you.

Feel the ground lifting up to meet you.

Feel the air grabbing your skin and laying on it as sweet as silk.

Hear the sounds around you in the room,

In the field,

In the distance.

Put your hands over your eyes.

Hold them there.

Lock in the sensations.

Lock in that grassy field.

Lock in the horizon.

Hold still to that ladder.

Feel the joy of playing as you jump on the other side.

Slowly remove your hands from your eyes.

Slowly,

Ever so slowly,

Wiggle your finger,

Wiggle your toe and open your eyes.

Lower your hands into your lap.

If you are standing,

Lower your gaze onto your hands,

On your thigh.

If you are walking,

Allow your eyes to rest upon the ground in which you are walking.

Slowly notice the sensations that arise from being back in your body,

Back in this space,

Back in this reality.

Notice the colors,

The shapes,

The sounds as you come into the room,

As you come into the space in which you inhabit.

Bow to yourself.

Thank yourself deeply for showing up and doing this work,

For being willing to look inward so that you can grow outwardly.

I am grateful that you are here.

I am grateful that you are here.

You are needed and I am so honored to walk with you.

The fence represents where you hold your barriers.

Take note of that.

Take note of the way you respond to the fence.

The ladder is your support system.

How does it serve you?

How are you willing to use it?

The other side of the fence,

As you leaped over,

Is your future.

Relish in the joy and the play that awaits you.

It is yours to have.

Make note of all these things.

I will see you soon.
