Do you ever feel like time is not on your side?
That no matter how productive or organized you try to be,
You're frustrated that you really have enough time to really do the things that you truly love?
Maybe it's as if time just slips through your fingers or just evaporates from your schedule.
Well,
You're in luck and you clicked on the right meditation to help you out with time management.
I'm going to help you learn how to work smarter,
Not harder,
And managing your precious time.
In fact,
I'm going to let you know a few things how to mindfully manage your time.
And so this is going to be very different than maybe the things that you experienced before.
This isn't a quick gimmicky fix,
But rather a long lasting shift in your lifestyle and your beliefs towards time.
This meditation will help you discover or rediscover your why.
Why do you wish to manage your time more effectively and better?
Really being able to tap into what do you value?
What gives you in your life the most joy?
And this discovering your why and really going deep will really help to paint the picture and illustrate what space do you need in your life and how to invest your time in those areas.
Let's begin,
Shall we?
Go ahead and make yourself comfortable,
Inviting your body and mind to arrive in this present moment.
There's nothing you have to do or try to do right now.
All you have to do is listen to my voice,
Get even more comfortable and breathe in and out,
Connecting the body and mind with each and every breath you take.
Let's go ahead and take one cleansing breath in and as you exhale,
Let all the mental and physical tension go.
That's right.
And let's take another refreshing breath in and out,
Seeing if you can be 50% more relaxed and one more restorative breath in and out,
Letting go of any and all tension so that you are now 100% even more relaxed than before.
Simply listening to my voice,
Breathing and being in this present moment.
And one part of your mind will continue to listen to my voice while another part of your mind,
Your unconscious mind is invited to drift and dream and discover.
And by the end of this audio adventure,
You will feel more relaxed,
Deeply refreshed and gain clear clarity about your why,
Why you wish to manage your time more effectively.
And the curious thing is,
Is we often believe we need to control our environment or others or control even ourselves to maximize our time.
The reality is there's nothing we need to control because the passage of time is subjective and is actually driven by emotions.
You've probably experienced time moving like molasses,
Like when you're stuck in a boring meeting,
A mind numbing class with your least favorite teacher,
Or maybe even waiting in line in the grocery store.
And at the same time,
You've probably experienced time moving fast and so quickly that you don't even realize how much time has passed.
Like whenever you're with a dear friend or doing something that you love,
So absorbed in the moment that hours can just fly on by,
You don't even notice.
This is why finding your why,
What you really value in your life and your mission in life will really unlock that abundance of infinite time and energy so you can finally do what is most important to you.
You have and always will have enough time to complete your priorities.
Ultimately,
Time management is not trying to do all the things,
But rather doing the most important things.
This may be like panning for gold in muddy waters.
There's just so much mud of the past to shift through to discover the gold now.
So let's go ahead and do that together now.
And something interesting is about to happen.
As you become deeply relaxed,
You'll imagine that you hold a small silver key in your left hand.
And you'll also find yourself in a safe,
Comfortable place outside near gentle flowing water or stream.
Go ahead and experience your surroundings with all of your senses.
Clearly seeing the river and the nearby sturdy trees and vivid detail.
Feeling the gentle,
Cool breeze and the warm sun kiss your skin.
Hearing the calming sound of the water washing upon the shore.
Perhaps even taking a deep breath in to smell the fresh,
Crisp air that's just there for you.
Really taking the time to soak in this environment.
That's it.
And while you soak in this environment and looking closer,
You notice that there's something glimmering and golden sticking out on the river's edge.
So you can go up and go to it,
This curious object.
You can brush off some of the dirt and leaves on top of it and discover that it's a treasure box just for you.
Now I'm not sure how big or how little this treasure box is and how it even got here in the first place.
But what I do know is that that silver key that you hold unlocks what's inside.
So go ahead,
If you haven't already,
Insert the key and twist it open and open the box.
Reach inside to discover what's within.
And what's inside this box may or may not surprise you.
It contains an important message for yourself,
To yourself,
From yourself about what you value in your life.
It contains your why.
Your why,
Your wish to improve your time management.
And your why appears before you effortlessly.
You may take various forms like a symbolic object,
Like a heart-shaped clock with your family and loved ones.
Or perhaps a calendar that has everything effortlessly scheduled for you.
Or maybe even a handwritten message that says,
My why is to blank so that I can do blank,
Filling in those gaps effortlessly and on your own time.
Or maybe there's something else that contains an even more meaningful message for you.
Your why.
So go ahead and spend some time with this message so it becomes even more a part of you and your life.
Now something curious will happen in the next few minutes before we reconnect and reconvene.
That amazing part of your mind,
The infinite source of resource and wisdom,
Is always working in the background,
Helping you without you fully realizing it.
That part of you that allows your heart to beat,
Your lungs to breathe,
Your cells to regenerate effortlessly and automatically.
And isn't it curious you already know or will know your why and will be pleasantly surprised in unexpected ways how easy it is to be productive.
Because you know what matters most to you and you can create your time around that.
And you know that what your life is truly about can make space for that as well.
Perhaps you may be more creative and focus in on how you schedule your time and allot your time.
And maybe you'll let go of unhelpful tasks that aren't really nourishing to you.
So I'll give you a few moments to say goodbye to this place and remember you can always come back if you need more clarity,
Confidence,
Or calm in your life.
Coming back now to your own room at your own time,
You can gently open your eyes,
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes,
Noticing the texture of either your clothes or your seat and noticing this feeling of being fully alert and refreshed and even rejuvenated in this present moment.
So what will you take away as a gift or a souvenir from this trip?
I hope this was helpful for you.
Feel free to comment on any of your experiences below.
Some prompts that could be helpful for you is why.
What is your why?
Why do you wish to enhance your time management?
Or two,
What's one thing differently that you can do starting today?
Or three,
What is the first next step towards your time management?
Remember research indicates that writing something down makes you more likely to remember it and even more likely to complete that task.
So enjoy the shift in your mind and in your life with your why to time management figured out and rediscovered.
Until next time,
Take care.
