Hello,
Dear one,
And welcome.
I'm glad you're here.
Go ahead and get nice and comfortable.
Once you're settled in,
I'd like for you to ask yourself this question.
Where am I right now?
We know your body is here,
But what about your mind?
Is your mind present as well?
Or is it somewhere else?
If you are currently feeling anxious,
Worried,
Or stressed,
It's quite likely that your mind has wandered off.
There's a wonderful quote that says,
If you are depressed,
You are living in the past.
If you are anxious,
You are living in the future.
If you are at peace,
You are living in the present.
Let's come back to the present so that you can reconnect to your peace.
We'll start with the breath.
Take a nice deep breath into your body and sigh it out.
Again,
Breathe into your body,
Sigh it out.
One more time,
Nice deep breath into your body and sigh it out.
Now continue to breathe naturally.
The past is over.
You are here in this moment.
As you breathe,
Begin to relax your forehead.
Relax your eyes.
Relax your neck.
The future hasn't happened yet.
You are here in the moment.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your back.
Relax your belly.
All there is is the present moment.
This is the only real thing happening.
Relax your arms and your hands.
Relax your legs and feet.
Continue to breathe.
Become aware of the area in the center of your chest.
You may notice some sensations or feelings.
Just observe them.
And now breathe into your heart.
Now bring your awareness to the area around your navel.
Notice what it feels like.
Begin to breathe into that area around your navel.
Now bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.
Notice what they feel like.
Observe any sensations.
Breathe into the soles of your feet.
Now I'd like for you to imagine roots attached to the soles of your feet.
These roots are thick,
Strong,
And sturdy.
Imagine these roots moving down into the earth.
They continue deep into the earth's core and go all the way out the other side.
Now you are fully rooted and grounded here in the moment.
Continue to breathe in this state of stillness and peace as we reflect on the following affirmations.
You can repeat them aloud or simply bask in their energy.
I am focused,
Relaxed,
And at ease.
I am focused,
Relaxed,
And at ease.
I let go of fear and worry.
I let go of fear and worry.
I choose to focus only on what I can control.
I choose to focus only on what I can control.
I am peaceful,
Safe,
And well.
I am peaceful,
Safe,
And well.
When things are stressful,
I choose to remain quiet and calm.
When things are stressful,
I choose to remain quiet and calm.
I attract peace into my life.
I attract peace into my life.
I can release tension and focus on relaxation.
I can deal with whatever comes my way in a calm and relaxed manner.
I can deal with whatever comes my way in a calm and relaxed manner.
There is a peaceful stillness deep within me.
There is a peaceful stillness deep within me.
I can soothe myself and my thoughts whenever I want.
I can soothe myself and my thoughts whenever I want.
Continue to relax and breathe.
I invite you to rest here in this blissful state for as long as you like.
And whenever you're ready to re-emerge into your day,
Know that you can tap into this peace anytime.
Namaste.
Namaste.
