I know you carry so much.
You're tired.
Tired of holding it all together for everyone else.
Tired of feeling if you'd just planned better,
If you'd just tried harder or if you knew better,
Maybe things wouldn't fall apart.
Maybe you don't even say it out loud but inside you feel the weight of trying to control what was never yours to carry.
I know you feel behind and you probably have somewhere to be the moment this meditation ends,
Maybe your to-do list is piling up but hear me out,
My dear soul.
You don't need to solve anything right now.
You don't need to fix it.
You don't need to have it all together and you don't need to be perfect.
Right now you just need to be,
Just be here and just breathe.
You are enough.
You are enough exactly as you are.
You don't have to earn this moment of rest.
You don't have to perform.
Not here.
You are enough in the way a puppy is enough.
A puppy.
We love puppies not because they are achieving something,
Not because they are productive or impressive but because they just are.
They exist with joy,
Softness and presence and so can you.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose and hold it gently.
Now exhale slowly through your mouth.
Can you feel your feet grounded?
Feel your heart open?
And your mind clear?
Now let your body soften.
Let your mind settle and let your breath be your anchor.
This moment right here right now is a gift.
Not because everything is easy but because you are alive and aware.
You are present and presence is your presence.
Your presence is your power.
Don't forget that my dear soul.
Take another breath in.
Deeper this time.
Feel your lungs completely and hold it.
And now exhale with intention.
And as you breathe,
Begin to soften.
Release the tension in your shoulders,
Your jaw,
Your hands.
Let go of yesterday.
Guess what?
You don't live there anymore.
Yesterday is a memory,
Not your home.
Let go of what didn't go your way.
Let go of the words you wish you'd said differently.
Let go of the missed opportunities,
The awkward moments,
The things you replay in your mind over and over again.
You know what?
You did the best you could with who you were and what you knew at the time.
And that is enough,
My dear soul.
That is enough.
Inhale deeply.
And as you exhale,
Let go of the expectation that you must always get it right.
Let go of the belief that you have to be perfect to be worthy.
Let go of how it should have gone.
Let go of how they should have responded,
Why they should have chosen you.
Let go of the story that you must control every outcome,
Other people's mind,
Their behaviors to feel safe.
No.
You don't need to be flawless.
You don't need to be liked by everyone.
You don't need to please them all.
No,
You don't.
You mustn't.
You were not born to fit in every mold or meet every demand or be everyone's choice.
You are not here to shrink yourself into someone else's comfort.
You're here to be real,
To be whole,
To be free.
So release the pressure.
The pressure to perform.
The pressure to be agreeable at the cost of your truth.
The pressure to never make mistakes.
You're not here to micromanage life.
You are here to meet it with grace,
With presence,
With power.
With power rooted in surrender.
Just release.
Just release the need to control everything because control is a cage.
Control is fear in disguise.
What you can control is how you breathe,
How you show up,
What you choose to believe and how you treat yourself in the moment.
So loosen your grip.
Open your hands,
Open your heart,
Open your mind and just relax your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your eyebrows,
Your forehead and trust.
Trust that even when things don't go according to plan,
They often go according to growth.
You don't need to control everything.
You can't.
You just need to be aware of what you can control and what you can't and know the difference.
As the Serenity Prayer says,
God,
Universe,
Higher power,
Whatever you believe in,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
Yes,
You may not control every outcome,
But you always control your choices,
Your assumptions,
Your actions,
Your reactions.
When you know that,
You set yourself free.
Let this be your armor.
Not resistance,
But resilience.
Not denial,
But strength and acceptance.
You are not afraid of challenges.
We're all born as warriors.
You are a warrior.
You prepare yourself,
Not with control,
But with calm.
Now,
Take a few cleansing breaths now.
Breathe in through the nose and hold and breathe out through the mouth.
Let the breath wash over you like a wave.
Each inhale energizes and each exhale clears space.
Remind yourself gently,
Things may go off track today and that's ok.
You will not be caught off guard because you've prepared your heart to stay calm.
You are training your mind to focus on what you can control and see things only as they are.
Today,
Make a commitment that you are going to see things only as they are.
Give each thing,
Every person,
Every thought you have,
Only the value it truly deserves.
Never more,
Never less.
Take one final deep breath.
Feel your body,
Your beautiful heart,
Your mind.
Do you feel that they are aligned?
You made them by showing up here today.
Now,
If your eyes are closed,
Gently open your eyes and feel the stillness in your soul,
The strength in your spirit.
You are not disturbed by things,
Only by your judgement of them.
And you,
