Hello and thank you for being here.
We're going to do just a few minutes of our right nostril breathing.
So,
Cozy on in,
Come cross-legged,
Nice tall spine,
Seated pose,
Whatever that looks like for you.
It is perfect.
So,
Hands come onto the knees,
Let's begin to close the eyes.
Now we're going to inhale through the nose.
Holding the breath at the top,
We're just coming into our breath,
Connecting as one.
Let's exhale through the mouth.
Just before we begin our breathing,
Inhale.
And this time,
Sigh it out.
Let's take those hands right in front of the heart center.
Press the palms,
Press the fingertips,
Humble the chin towards the fingertips so you're bowing.
Slight tuck,
Elongating the back of the neck,
A nice clear channel from base of spine to top of spine.
Inhale through the nose.
And please holding at the top,
Through the nose,
Exhale.
Two more just like that.
Inhale.
Holding,
See if you can release any tension in the eyes,
In the forehead,
In the shoulders,
Relax those wings down and back.
Lift the heart through the nose,
Exhale.
Last one,
Inhale.
Holding at the top,
Exhale.
You can keep the eyes closed as you release the hands.
Really nice easy posture here.
That left thumb is going to just block off the left nostril.
The rest of the fingers are going to be pointed upward,
Those are your antennas,
To the universe,
To the skies and beyond my friends.
You're going to take that right hand into gi and mudra so make sure that tip of the index and thumb tip are touching.
And just the back of that hand is resting palm up on that right knee.
So right hand,
Gi and mudra,
Lock in.
Left thumb tip is pressing and blocking off the left nostril so we can breathe long and deep through the right.
Let's inhale together.
Maybe it takes you four to five seconds inhaling and you're holding at the top just about two or three and you're exhaling maybe a little longer.
Five seconds.
Stay breathing,
We're here just a few minutes together.
Inhaling,
Long and deep breath.
Exhaling even longer.
This is a really good one.
Brings us back into the body.
So with the moon we visit the cooling feminine energy that's through the left and now we're working with that right nostril bringing in the sun,
More of the masculine energy,
That alert energy,
That bright energy.
This is so good for any depression.
If you have low energy and you have a lot to take on in the day,
I find myself in those situations often.
But it's all good,
We have tools for it.
You know,
Really important to know that these beautiful nostrils that we all have,
So lucky to have,
Are the natural thermostat to the body.
So with that said,
The right nostril breathing is going to bring up,
Increase the body temperatures.
It'll bring up the blood pressure.
So just be mindful.
The Pingala.
Naughty,
Nerve ending.
Nice clear channels.
We're visiting what it feels like with each nostril.
And then we can combine them by alternating it at another video.
Just a little bit more.
Stay present.
About 20 seconds or so.
Nice long deep breaths.
Hear them.
Thank you.
Please release that left nostril.
Bring that index and thumb to touch so both hands are now in Gyan Mudra,
Palm up on the knees.
Let's inhale through both nostrils.
Hold a moment at the top.
Through the nose,
Exhale.
Inhale.
Gentle sigh through the mouth.
Exhale,
Exhale,
Exhale.
Take the hands in front of the heart.
In honor,
In gratitude,
In reverence.
Inhale.
Gentle bow as you exhale.
This is available to you however many minutes you need a day,
However many times you may need in your day.
Have a beautiful day everybody.
Namaste.
