Hello beautiful beings and welcome to your practice.

This breathwork practice helps to bring balance,

Invites calm in the mind and releases any tension we may be holding.

Invite comfort to meet you wherever you are,

Either seated on the floor,

In a chair,

Against the wall or maybe you prefer to lie down.

And once you've arrived in your chosen seat,

Invite your outer eyes to close down or hold a soft gaze.

Gently invite your awareness to your respiration,

Your colorful breath,

The regulator to serenity.

Invite the body to soften in your space.

Breathing in,

Feel as though the crown of your head reaches towards Father Sky,

Elongating the spine.

And breathing out,

Sense and feel your shoulders,

Hips and pelvis softening down,

Grounded.

Imagine crystalline roots reaching deep into Mother Earth,

Supported.

Notice the nasal passages receive cooling,

Nourishing nectar on the inhalation.

And on the exhalation,

Sense and feel the breath dance across the upper lip.

Perhaps a warmth of joy brings a smile.

I invite you to infuse a playful curiosity into your practice.

I invite you now to notice which nostril is more dominant and gently invite your awareness to your dominant nostril.

And without using a mudra,

But the power of your beautiful mind,

Reminding yourself that energy follows thought.

Sense and feel the breath flow in and back out through your dominant nostril.

Breathe in through the dominant nostril and breathe out through the same dominant nostril.

If both nostrils feel balanced,

Continue to breathe in through both nostrils.

Two more cycles just like this,

Sensing and feeling the breath in the dominant nostril.

And now without using any mudras,

Place your awareness at the left nostril if it isn't already there.

Inhale through your left nostril.

Exhale,

Feel the breath move out the right nostril.

This is psychic alternate nostril breathing.

Inhale through the right nostril.

Exhale through your left nostril.

Inhale left nostril.

Exhale right nostril.

Inhale right nostril.

Exhale left nostril.

Inhale through the left nostril.

Exhale through the right.

Inhale right nostril.

Exhale through the left.

Please repeat this pattern on your own for a couple more cycles.

Allow for your breath to be slow and even.

As your next exhale exits the left,

Begin to invite your next inhale in through both nostrils and exhale through both nostrils.

Gently invite your awareness back into the space,

Inviting a deep breath in through your nose.

Open the mouth,

Exhale.

Gently,

When you're ready,

Blink open your beautiful eyes.

Thank you for sharing your practice with me.
