Okay so just establishing your posture however you've chosen to sit or lie down.
Just gently bring the attention to the breath and or the sensations in whatever anchor point feels steadying and grounding for you.
Be tuning in.
Noticing what's here.
Feeling free to close the eyes or keep them open if that feels more appropriate for you.
Just settling here knowing there's nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to do.
And inviting you now to bring to mind,
As best as you're able to,
A beautiful flower garden that you've seen,
Maybe you've visited or that you can imagine.
Garden's enormous.
There's a wide variety of blooms of all different shapes and colours and sizes.
There might be sweet fragrances in the air.
There might be a gentle breeze making the flowers move.
There might be insects and bees.
The sun might be shining.
Just take in the image of this enormous beautiful flower garden.
Taking in the colours and the fragrances.
Just soaking up its beauty.
And now imagine yourself in the garden,
Collecting a range of flowers and putting them together into an enormous bouquet.
Maybe tying them with a ribbon,
The colour of your choice.
Taking care to present them as carefully and as colourfully as you can.
And now imagining presenting this enormous beautiful bouquet of flowers to yourself.
So imagine you're there in the garden.
And you're both putting the bouquet together and you're there in the garden to receive the bouquet.
Maybe imagining yourself handing the bouquet to yourself.
Be noticing any reactions that come up for you as you give this gift to yourself.
Savouring the pleasantness of this scene and the moment of both giving and receiving.
Noticing how that feels.
Maybe replaying it in the mind if that's helpful.
The bouquet passing from yourself to yourself.
The joy of giving and the joy of receiving.
Noticing your reactions to this giving and receiving.
So now letting the image of you giving the flowers to yourself just fade into the background.
And as the image fades away,
Just noticing how the flowers in your garden haven't diminished in any way.
All the flowers that you've taken have regrown.
And the garden's even larger than it was before.
And making another bouquet,
This time for someone you love.
Someone that's been kind to you.
Someone who's helped you.
Someone you're fond of.
Imagining yourself carefully collecting the most exquisite range of blooms.
Tieing the bouquet with a ribbon and carefully presenting it to this person that you love.
And this time noticing how it feels to give the flowers.
How the person you love receives them.
How they receive your gift.
Again savouring the pleasantness of this scene.
And that moment of giving.
So letting the image of the person you love fade into the background now.
Noticing that all the flowers that you've given to that person have regrown in the garden.
The garden's got even bigger.
Now imagine yourself preparing a bouquet,
So selecting flowers from the garden.
For someone that you know is having a hard time.
Someone who's suffering.
Someone who's experiencing difficulty.
Making careful selections in the garden for the flowers you feel are the most appropriate.
Tying the bouquet with a ribbon.
And then presenting it to you.
Noticing how it feels to give them the flowers.
And noticing their reactions to being gifted the flowers.
How they receive them.
And how that feels in the body and in the mind.
Maybe replaying this image.
Really savouring the feelings that it evokes.
And as the image of this person now fades into the background.
Again you notice the garden isn't in any way diminished by the flowers that you've gifted to.
Those flowers and more have regrown.
And the garden is truly enormous.
So you now invite all beings into your garden.
And allow them to freely select flowers that they would enjoy.
So all beings everywhere.
Maybe imagining people coming in through the path.
Delighting at the flowers in the garden.
Helping themselves.
Noticing the joy that it gives them.
And the joy that it gives you to see them enjoying the flower garden.
And the beauty and abundance it provides.
And again you see as the flowers are taken by all beings,
New ones grow almost instantly.
Even bigger,
Even brighter blooms.
Increasing the size of the garden to an almost unimaginable extent.
It's taking in the scene.
Enjoying other people's happy engagement and enjoyment of your garden.
And as the sun goes down in your garden now.
The last of the visitors leave.
Once more you notice that the garden's even larger than it was.
How beautiful it is.
As the sun sets.
And darkness arrives.
So returning your attention now to the body.
Just tuning in to any feelings that remain after that practice.
Be exploring any reactions you have.
Maybe they're pleasant or unpleasant.
All reactions are welcome.
When you're ready now,
Just returning the attention to their feet on the floor.
Maybe opening the eyes if they've been closed.
Thank you for joining us.
