Welcome to another stress fit meditation.
In this meditation you will restore your inner balance by using the breath.
First it is important to understand that modern day stresses accumulate in our bodies as unsettled energy.
This unsettled energy if left untreated can result in health issues.
Unsettled energy is nervous energy.
Our brains only have a certain capacity to hold onto nervous energy before discharging into different parts of the body,
Lowering our vibration and immunity.
Ultimately the body will be uneased which leads to disease.
Managing stress levels through meditations is essential for good health and longevity.
If you're feeling stressed,
Anxious or worried,
Meditation can help.
Spending even a few minutes in meditation can restore your calm and inner peace.
This meditation will help produce a deep state of relaxation,
Creating coherence which keeps your body in a state of growth and repair resulting in good health.
Find yourself a comfortable position for this practice.
Maintain a nice straight back,
Hands on your knees or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.
Gently close your eyes and mouth.
Take in a deep inhale and as you exhale,
Sigh the breath out of your mouth.
Allow your shoulders to drop and sink into your position a little deeper for this practice.
Take in another deep inhale.
As you exhale,
Sigh the breath out of your mouth.
Continue to take in long deep breaths,
Breathing in through the nose and as you exhale,
Sigh the breath out of your mouth.
Now extend your exhale by pulling your navel into your spine.
Release all the air from your body by really pulling your navel into your spine.
Breathing in deeply and exhaling fully.
Continue this for the next few moments.
Now let your breath go.
For the rest of this practice,
Breathe in through the nose and breathe out through the nose.
Just allow your natural rhythmic breath to take place.
Do not interrupt or disturb the natural flow of your breath.
Feel everything start to slow down.
Feel your breath start to slow down.
Feel your heartbeat start to slow down.
Feel your body start to slow down.
Feel the outside world start to slow down.
Everything is slowing down as you enter this present moment.
Deepen your awareness of this present moment.
Bring your attention to your heart center.
Start to breathe in and out of this center.
Feel your breath entering through your heart center.
Feel your breath leaving from your heart center.
As you continue heart breathing,
Feel your body start to relax.
Feel your mind and body coming into coherence.
Now pay attention to a body part that feels relaxed.
Focus on this body part.
Spread this relaxation throughout your whole body with each breath.
Now we're going to scan through different parts of the body.
Follow my cues and set the intention to relax each body part.
Feel the body part for a moment with all your attention until I say the next body part.
Let's start with your hands.
Palms of your hands.
Arms.
Chest.
Stomach.
Hips.
Legs.
Feet.
Soles of the feet.
Back.
Lower back.
Face.
Feel your whole body.
What does your body feel like?
Each time you exhale,
Feel your body relaxing more and more.
Just letting go a little more with each exhale.
Feeling your back.
Breathe in the essence of peace.
As you exhale,
Let go of your stress.
Let go of your tension.
Let go of all the unwanted energy that may be hanging around.
Let feel your body dissolve into an ocean of relaxation.
Listen to your breath.
Take in a few deep breaths using your throat muscles.
As you exhale,
Sigh the breath out of your mouth.
Remember to pull your navel in and release all the air out of your body,
Allowing the inhalation to happen naturally.
Continue to breathe like this for the next few moments.
Now let your breath go again.
Go back to nose breathing.
Be mindful of what your body is feeling right now.
And you feel the relaxation taking place.
Your goal is to stay connected to this relaxation for the rest of this practice.
Set the intention to relax your body.
Embracing your body's energy system.
Take control and restore your body's inner balance.
