Welcome to another stress fit meditation.
Sit in any comfortable meditative posture.
Maintain a nice straight back.
Stand your chest.
Roll your shoulders back.
Place hands on your knees.
Or palms facing up if you wish to lay down for this practice.
Gently close your eyes and mouth.
Let's start by taking in some long deep breaths.
Breathing in through the nose.
Breathing out through the nose.
Breathing in through the nose.
Breathing out through the nose.
Breathing in through the nose.
Breathing out through the nose.
What are you feeling right now?
Let's go deeper than the feeling and into the energy that is vibrating through your body.
Scan through your body,
Starting from your feet.
Feel your feet,
Ankles,
Knees,
Thighs,
Hips,
Waist.
Tummy,
Chest,
Arms.
Now feel your hands.
Feel the energy that animates your hands.
What does your body feel like?
When you realize you can observe your thoughts and emotions,
You realize you are not defined by them.
Spend time hanging out in the space between your thoughts.
This is where your true essence resides.
Do not allow yourself to suppress your emotions.
Instead,
Let the emotions rise and come before you.
Become a sort of observer.
Start observing your own feelings.
Do not try and escape them by reciting them.
Do not try and distract your mind by not dealing with them.
Just allow them to rise and watch them from a place of non-judgment.
Your body will flush out any unwanted energy as long as you don't get involved.
So don't get involved.
Just simply let it be.
Suffering happens when we get involved and entangle our minds with currents of energy that move through our bodies.
The goal is to just observe your thoughts and observe your feelings,
Not to let them consume you.
You are life itself.
There is a universe inside you,
Awakening unto itself.
Self-awareness is like the dreamer awakening in the dream.
Consciousness is just becoming aware of itself.
And when this happens,
We transcend the physical and enter the metaphysical.
Inner peace begins the moment you choose to observe your life.
True happiness rises the moment you choose to feel your spirit.
Liberation happens the moment you realize your inner peace.
Now for the rest of this practice,
Just simply watch your thoughts and embrace your feelings purely from a state of observation.
If you find yourself becoming consumed,
Just shift your attention back into a state of witnessing,
Embracing the stillness and the fear.
Breathing in through the nose,
Breathing out through the nose.
Thank you.
