All right.
Everyone start to come back into a comfortable seat.
We're going to start with our sitting meditation with our eyes closed.
If you can just sit up a little more straight,
Allowing that energy that we've talked about to give it a pathway to circulate through the body.
So hands rested gently by your sides and just begin to tap into your breath.
Tap into your life force,
Your natural way to bring more energy into the body.
Taking a deep breath in,
Filling up the belly,
Expanding out through the chest.
Exhale,
Feeling your shoulders roll down the spine,
Soften the brow,
Feel the eyes start to move back into the head as they come down into your heart.
And with each deep inhale and exhale,
You allow your body to find a deeper,
More releasing posture.
Feeling upright but very rooted.
For people that may be newer to meditation,
The breath is always an anchor to come back.
We're going to use a few different anchors or another anchor today,
But for any meditation you might do at home,
Obviously our thoughts are going to come up.
We're going to start thinking about things that we haven't maybe even thought about in years or we'll think about things that we have to do tomorrow or getting home tonight.
It's endless and it happens whether you've meditated for five minutes or for five years.
This isn't something that is just because you're new.
So,
Let's acknowledge that.
What meditation is,
Is coming back.
It's seeing that you veered off and just coming back to your breath,
Coming back to the sound of our voices.
Maybe coming back to the touch of your hands on your knees,
The touch of your feet on the floor.
Many ways that we can anchor our attention and our minds back to this present moment.
So we're going to move now.
I want you all to imagine yourself sitting near a waterfall.
This is a very high above waterfall.
So wherever you see yourself,
Maybe you're close to the actual stream.
Or maybe you see the stream,
Kind of the waterfall down the way.
Maybe it's this large thundering waterfall.
Or maybe it's just a normal,
Just continually flowing water down and you're just sitting by the river,
By the stream.
Notice how the grass feels.
Begin to,
Let's envision the sky.
Is it blue?
There's some clouds.
What kind of,
What mountain is the waterfall coming off of?
Is it out in the west coast?
Can you see the rock?
Can you actually see the different shades of gray and black?
Start to bring to mind this scene,
Noticing where the grass moves into dirt,
Where the dirt comes off.
And you see this flowing,
Beautiful blue stream.
And like everyone,
You notice as you breathe,
I want you to breathe in feeling,
Holding for a few breaths and feeling a little more space in your throat.
Breathe in for a count of three and really feel a space,
Spaciousness come to the back of your throat.
It almost feels like there's cool air that's coming in through the nostrils.
I'd like you to,
Maybe all it takes is to just lean over with your hand.
Maybe you have to go and walk over and,
Or let's make it where it's easy to just grab this water.
So at any moment you can,
There's this cool blue water that's streaming from the waterfall and you're high.
So this,
You know,
This water is pure.
You know,
This is natural mountain spring water.
It's not like the bottled stuff.
And you go and you just take your hand,
Put it in the water and you wash yourself.
You take a little sip and you feel the cool blue,
Refreshing water come down your throat,
Almost as to heal and the water tastes,
It tastes so refreshing.
And it just allows you to fall deeper into your sea and you just,
Again,
Look at the space around you and you're able to fall back into this deep state of appreciation.
And this water today,
This cool sip of water is going to be our anchor.
So if you're feeling like you start to lose track of the meditation or just feeling like your,
Your mind's running,
See if you can step back,
Bring your hand down the stream and just,
Again,
Take a nice cool sip of water.
Everyone go ahead and do that and feel the blue,
Feel its blue healing energy work down through your throat.
Calming you,
Refreshing you,
Giving you exactly what you need in this moment.
I'd like to in,
In a effort to practice our listening,
As we talked about earlier,
Such a key component of meditation or excuse me,
Of communication.
It's just listening.
Just allow yourself to listen to what's going on.
See if you can hear the birds chirping.
You hear the wind brush by just telling you someone else is,
Someone else is here with us.
Hearing the sound,
Listening to your heart,
Listening to yourself.
Just being okay with whatever comes up.
Again,
If your mind wanders,
Go ahead and refresh yourself with a cool sip of that fresh mountain water.
I'd like to now think of maybe a time,
And we all do this,
A time in your life where you may have misrepresented yourself.
You may have thought something but said another.
Maybe it was a big thing.
Maybe it was something you didn't share.
Maybe it was something that you wanted to share with a significant other,
But you were just afraid of what they were going to say.
Because sometimes not sharing what we know we need to share is just as harmful as speaking something that we don't mean.
So allow whatever memory to come up without judging it,
Without being hard on yourself for being untrue.
Because if anything,
The practice of noticing where you've been untrue is the truest thing that you can do in this moment.
The fact that you're bringing something up like this and you want to transform and be someone that can speak their truth and live their truth says a whole lot about you.
So with this thought in mind,
I'd like you all to now maybe fill up a little canteen that you have by your side and go ahead and fill that up in the stream.
And instead of just a sip of water,
We're going to take a sip of this canteen and allow its blue healing energy to just allow whatever that you thought about to just wash away.
And this water is representing you purifying yourself so that you can speak,
Live,
And express yourself,
Express your truth to anyone.
And it's okay.
It's a sip of forgiveness.
It's a sip of self-love.
It's a sip of exactly what you need right now in order to express yourself fully.
And take as long as a sip that you need.
Maybe you put it down and you'd like a little more of that healing.
And again,
If you ever lose yourself as we're speaking here,
Just go ahead and take a sip of your canteen,
Bring your hand in the water,
And allow this cooling,
Blue,
Fresh mountain air,
Mountain water to release.
And as you do,
You feel your heart start to open,
You feel yourself start to heal,
And you start to notice the different relationships in your life that you'd like to speak and share from a truthful space.
And we're going to move through this with a couple people.
So there's going to be first we're going to bring up someone that we really care about,
Someone that we love,
That we have a very close relationship with where maybe we find ourselves sometimes that we can't speak and express ourselves.
Think about who this person is.
And I don't even want you to think about what you're going to say because anything that you could think about what you'd want to say,
It doesn't matter until you're in that moment.
All I'd like you to do is from your heart center.
I just like you to send this is the meta meta meditation part just send this person healing.
Send this person happiness.
And then you can send them unconditional good positive vibes.
Not needing to communicate to this person just wishing this person well.
And then you can send this person a message that you've kept in mind someone that you are like neutral to.
You know,
Maybe you want to have a deeper communication or relationship with this person.
But you just haven't it hasn't presented itself or maybe you just don't even know who this person is.
Maybe it's someone that you haven't even met yet.
And if you have a tough time having someone come to mind,
Just go ahead and take a sip of cool blue water and just come back.
And send this neutral friend this person just send them good wishes.
Send them your love.
And now,
Finally,
Think of someone that you have a awkward to not so good relationship,
Whatever whoever you want to send healing light to right now.
Maybe it's someone that you always butt heads with or maybe it's just someone where you just feel like you guys don't connect.
But it's not talked about.
Again,
From that heart,
Remembering to breathe in a little more space into your throat and breathe down into your heart.
Sending this person again,
Just your positive wishes.
Wishing that they could feel the healing,
Cool,
Refreshing water that you've been drinking.
We all deserve happiness.
We all deserve love and to feel refreshed,
To feel rejuvenated.
Focusing now with every breath on your throat area.
Realizing that your throat is the bridge between your heart and your mind.
Breathe into the back of your throat and on your exhale,
Give a hum.
Inhale deeply filling up your lungs and exhale,
Feeling the depth of your throat.
Taking your hands and interlacing your fingers on your lap,
Keeping your hands somewhat active.
Bring your thumbs up to touch so that the fingertips point up towards your heart.
So you're forming a little circle.
With your hands interlaced,
I want you to focus on the connection between the points of your thumbs.
It's your power center.
Focusing your energy on the connection between your two thumbs.
Feeling the warmth between the contact.
Slowing down your breath and feeling it as it fills your lungs and exhales entirely.
Slowing it down with the inhale and holding.
And then exhale and holding that air out.
Continue to breathe deeply,
Feeling the expansion of your lungs and the emptying of your breath.
With each exhale that you take,
Focus on the connection,
That connection between your thumbs,
Growing stronger and stronger.
With every inhale,
Feel the energy build.
It's building stronger on the inhale.
And think of your thumbs,
That energy,
That deep connection between them,
The fingertips pushing together.
It begins to start a blue,
There's a bright,
Beautiful blue that begins at the tips of your fingertips.
Maintaining your focus there with every exhale and inhale,
You imagine this vibrant blue growing.
It begins to radiate from your thumb tips into your hands and into your wrists.
You watch this line of power,
This brilliant blue as it starts to make its way up through your forearms.
Glowing from the inside,
A blue that you've never seen before.
Reaches your elbows,
Your upper arms,
Feeling your body relax as the color makes its way up into your shoulders.
The color,
The energy,
It flows through your shoulders and across your chest,
Meeting at your heart center.
Here at your heart,
This beautiful blue forms a little ball,
A circle,
This orb of energy.
Take a deep inhale,
Feeling the energy just fill with your lungs.
Feeling the energy build in your chest,
Take an inhale and hold your breath.
Feeling here,
Focusing right in your heart space as this blue ball begins to grow larger and larger and brighter with every second.
As you're holding,
I want you to focus on your throat energy and on your next exhale,
Allow it to release entirely with your mouth exhaling.
With each following exhale,
Release any lingering bits of tension from within your chest,
Any blocks that still may be in your throat.
In your mind,
I'd like you to repeat a few affirmations.
I speak my truth clearly.
I speak my truth clearly.
I express what I'm feeling and what I'm thinking with ease.
I express what I'm feeling and what I'm thinking with ease.
I'd like everyone to fill up their canteen as if we have brought it now.
We're going to leave the waterfall,
Leave our space and come back into this room.
And what this canteen of water,
This glass of water,
Whatever you envision,
Whatever you drink water out of,
I think this is such a beautiful anchor that we can always use because we all drink water every day.
And before we're entering a situation that needs us to express ourselves,
That warrants us to,
We always have the possibility to take a moment,
Take a second,
Go grab a glass of water and use that sip and use that drink as a remembering,
As the water comes down through your throat,
That you're remembering this healing energy is almost giving you this permission.
It's allowing you to express yourself.
So I'd like everyone to take one last deep sip here before maybe you're going to go speak something and just imagine yourself in a situation sharing what you need to share being who you need to be getting it all out.
Listening,
Opening,
Being true to who you are.
I'm going to allow for a few minutes of silent meditation to sit with this healing energy,
This blue light,
Whatever is coming to you,
Whatever experience you're having,
Whether your mind's racing still or you feel this blue energy or this light.
And again,
If you lose track,
Just remember to take a sip of water and just come back,
Come back to the breath.
When this meditation is over,
You will hear the sound of a bell.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.

I’ll be saving this to listen to it again. The live recording didn’t bother me since I knew that’s what it was. I thought the water part vs the blue light part could have been two separate meditations though. Very soothing and powerful. Overall, this is a wonderful meditation and I look forward to listening to it again soon

I really liked this. Switching narrators was a bit weird indeed but it didn’t bother me too much (possibly because I expected it as I read some of the reviews first). I am very thankful for the visualization about the water canteen and using it throughout the day or at any mind-racing moments during the meditation. Thank you so much! I am going to explore other meditations by you as well!

I actually really liked this meditation. I was concerned with the reviews saying there was a lot of noise but I didn't find it distracting. Great meditation!

Great guided meditation. Like others, I wish they'd rerecord it without switching voices in the middle. Just the fussing with the microphone is enough to rate lower. But in the end, I rated a 5 because it is well done and I want to hear more from this teacher.
